Well, I guess the Lakers have a new tradition of disappointing the sh-t out of NBA fans on Christmas...
When it's on, the Heat defense is nearly flawless except for the fact that they give up open 3's on their rotations. But even then, they close out so hard that players who are open seem to panic even when they have a window to shoot.
Game is over. This is the kind of defense I envisioned the Heat playing. They have the ability to choke the life out of teams by locking them down. In all fairness though, I want to see what happens when they play the Lakers again in March, when Bynum should be free of rust and starting at C with Pau at PF. That will be completely different team than today.
So the Heat had no trouble defending the paint against the Lakers, or even defending Kobe. So lets line up all the people that said the Heat would'nt be able to defend the paint against the Lakers, or even will not beat the lakers. Also, U Mad?
Remember last year when cavs beat lakers on christmas day by 20. We will see what will happen with lakers and miami during play off time.
Dominated by 20 at home, on one the biggest games of the year. Embarrassing... should be some uncomfortable interviews later with plenty of criticism.
that means taking odom out and we all know how odom can be very inconsistent off the bench. i think that's a huge decision by phil jackson. odom is one of the reasons they are where they are.
matchups man. the heat can beat the lakers. but they won't face the lakers until the finals. their main concern is the celtics.
Ok, that Wade escape/ninja-fight commercial was pretty cool. Hadn't seen that one. Has it been out a while?
