the clippers announcers definitely noticed too. they said, "Griffin really hasn't had much success today against Hayes.." And when Hill was guarding Griffin, he went straight to the hole... it was pretty bad.
Chuck's defense highights pls! I missed the game, but if chuck played so great D, how did the kid still get 24+18? unbelievable.
Just some observations. And a little jab for all the school girls screaming before the game about who will stop him. But like I said, if he can develop a jump shot, which I have no doubt he can(money on that 3), he could become a much better rebounding Amare. And Amare is having a MVP caliber year as it is.
No one else on the Clippers team rebounds other than Jordan, so the two of them rack up rebounds like there's no tomorrow. He got most of him points during the Clippers dunking fest, hit some free throws, a couple tough post players, a couple jumpers....he's very well rounded.
modesto... and no, not a good job of defense, our second unit was terrible on d, and we gave up way too many dunks, most of them off offensive rebounds. defensive rebounding is still part of defense, and in the first half we sucked at that. very frustrated with jordan hill, he really needs to add more weight, how much did he add in the offseason?
Well, that is good for us. The less the league doesn't know about how good Chuck is, the less likely other teams will come looking to sign him should be become a UFA. Plus, WE know he is one of the best post-defenders in the game. That's all that really matters anyway.
i don't agree at all, dwight's rookie offensive moves pale in comparison to griffin's arsenal right now.. he has actual low post moves.
well i dont think it's a secret...hes just not getting enough minutes and prime time matchups to get the official recognition
After the game Chuck Hayes will prove again that he is the Modesto Monster since he left with a bevy of beauties
LMAO... I saw him gesturing toward the crowd late in the 2nd half. The Wagon was scoping the scene, and pinpointing L.A. prey. Most likely his sisters/family, though.
pretty sure most of chuck's family is up north they were all dressed ready to go to the club hopped into a black suv chuck told them all to get into the back seat hopped into the passenger side and their driver took them away. the life of a nba player
Glorious, absolutely glorious. Plus, he doesn't have any basketball-related obligations for the next 3-4 days, so he's probably staying in L.A. tonight and mauling some groupies. 44 just went up a notch in my book, son's got game in all aspects of his life.
chuck shut down stat, he's just really really good at defending pf's who score thru penetration, but obviously he struggles against pfs who score thru shooting (ala dirk), it's just who he is.
