Or it could simply be that both Hayes and Hill have 2 fouls. Just a hunch.

Yup, the rival GM must have told Morey. Show us Pat in a game.

JT played some minutes right before he was traded.

Hill has 2 fouls in the 1st half. With Griffin being a problem for us, I think Adelman wants to conserve him for the 2nd half. If Adelman hadn't taken him out as soon as he did, Hill would've picked up his 3rd phantom foul.

Anybody know what's up with the boxscores on NBA.com and ESPN? I can't find a good link.

Hayes and Hill had 2 fouls, and Del Negro for whatever reason didn't put Griffin back in the game. Also, he was matching up against Diogu who's a comparable player at this stage. Adelman was saving his vets for the second half so they don't pick up unnecessary fouls without Griffin in the game.

Pretty straightforward why Patterson was playing.

Yes, and this board was correct in saying that a trade involving JT was in the works.

    Too Bad. I like Patterson.

But we kept our poise. Our guys didn't get rattled. Almost ho-hum

The team is really playing with a lot of confidence. Like they know we are better than the Clippers. And it shows in the score.

Yeah, it's not because Morey and co. were super high on Patterson and he was averaging over 20-10 in the D league right? It must be a showcasing!!!

Pretty fun game. The Clippers dunkfest was amazing, but the Rockets pushing the lead to double digits twice was even better.

I like what Patterson's doing with his meaningful minutes. Solid so far.

Man Griffin is getting some ridiculous phantoms call out there. Its funny how the NBA makes sure you get a talent become a superstar really quick. This Rookies is getting some ridiculous calls out there, he is getting into DWade aka DWhistle territory out there.

And I think RA is saving JHill for Blake Griffin. Man, hopefully we can keep him down in the 2nd half. No more runs for the Clippers
