Anyone going to try and get a pair of the new Jordans that are going to be released this Thursday at midnight? They retail for $175 but I heard people were selling them under the counter for $325 already at certain places.
Thank God I never got into buying Jordans. I can't see myself paying $180 for shoes I'll barely wear.
Yeah those are nice too - I'm anticipating long lines. The footlocker at the Galleria opens at midnight Thursday - might have to get in line at like 5pm or so to guarantee a pair.
I don't know. Maybe for Space jams or Red/Black but these? I don't think you'll have to fight too hard.
Never owned a pair of Jordans. Was always into the Penny's, Flight/Foam-posites, etc... those almost look cool enough to get. But I hardly play anymore. And yes, I'd use em to play, not to wear around.
Man I hope you are right. I need to try and go to a mall that won't be as crowded. I heard the Space Jams sold out from Niketown online last year within 30 seconds.
I might get like 5 pairs and post them up on Ebay. I did this with other coveted Jordans and had some nice bids. Nike ES hookup FTW!
Definitely an aftermarket for the shoes. Wouldn't be surprised if you could sell them for $350 (100% mark-up)
these are my favorite shoes of all-time. wish they were going for $134.99 but I think I'll have to get them. i got this style in black and red when they were re-released originally. best ballin shoes ever. which mall is my best bet to get them? there are going to be some serious lines for these shoes.
Sometimes I regret buying Jordans; I look in my closet and see all the shoes I don't even wear (some by choice) and think of all the things I could have done with the money. I could flip my substantial shoe collection for a nice profit but I love them too much; I'm content simply looking at them. I've tried to steer clear of all the Shoe Fora/Blogs and magazines for the past 3 years now because I know I'll want to buy another pair of over-priced poor quality sneakers. I still think I'm going to try and get these but I'm hoping to get shut out because I don't need them. The only sneakers I buy, if I buy sneakers at all, are moderately priced dunks, vans, or retro Adidas; Sneakers that look nice but won't break the bank. $175 for a pair of sneakers that cost $100-$125 when they were first released is damn ridiculous. I'm glad I stopped getting all these sneakers; Jordan Brand started making people pay a premium for the damn box!
