LOL @ thinking "returning season tickets" will make Mr. McNair change his mind.

That's like people revolting to make me stop using smilies... :p

    Won't happen, ladies and gentlemen.

How can they show "they won't support the team" by giving back the tickets? Didn't they already pay for them? Like actually not going to the game will put a dent on McNair's mind. Hahaha. It is ridiculous how some people take this junk so seriously.

If they send in the tickets with a note saying they will not renew their season tickets it will put a scare in McNair.

^ "IF"... but that's not what they're saying they're doing.

I am saying they already paid money that they will lose. It won't scare anyone.

i accidently stopped on 610 this afternoon and rich lord and whoever else hosts the 2pm show with him nowadays were absolutely reeming the Texans brass. it was refreshing.

    then i realized i don't like 610 and switched back to 790.

Not really. If they return the tickets then they get to sell their PSL's again.

I don't know if it will 'scare' McNair, but it will let him know that the fans are not happy about the direction this franchise is headed and want a change. It puts more pressure on him to make a move than if the fans did nothing and accepted their fate.

Can we regular joes help too? Maybe if we dont have tickets, we can write a letter to the Texans stating we will NOT watch the game and no longer buy any Texans merchandise anymore until major changes are made!!! Also for those who ARE going to the game no matter what, can you all eat before you get there so no one will spend money for the Texans? If we all pull together, change may come! Now does anyone have a correct mailing address we can use?

Oh yeah, Josh Anus... oops I mean Innes has been a regular ray of sunshine for the Texans this season.

Seriously, are they going to stomp their feet and hold their breath too?

I was listening to Rich Lord at around 2:30ish
and he was preferencing the Kubiak show
by talking about how they were going to be 'respectful'
and not allow callers to go off on Kubiak.

basically they will screen all the calls and make sure no one really tears him a new one.

as the young ones would say . . . .weak sauce

Weak sauce? You think they should allow idiots on a phone to tear into a coach?

That's not weak sauce. No way you can ask a coach on as a guest on a regular show on the flagship radio station for the team and allow people to call in and rip him apart.

Wow Houston is really stupid. Don't mess with the owner. By all means don't piss him off. He can relocate the team and then the city of Houston will be crying their asses for a football team again.

Well, it's fair and understandable. When you have a guest and let the unfiltered masses just fill his ear with expletives and personal insults with no intelligence or discourse....no one in their right mind would sit in on your show again.

Can't be an attack session. He can be challenged with tough questions, but "**** you, you piece of ****, you ***ing suck you ***hat! Get the **** out of town!" can't happen. Even if we all want to kick him in the nuts.

This is just as stupid. "Let the franchise take a dump into your open mouth, and thank them for the opportunity!"

No one wants the Texans to leave. Those of us that have been season ticket holders the entire time absolutely have a right to ask for better management and a better product though.

Add the fact that 99% of the people who call into talk radio shows are pathetic losers who just want to hear themselves on the radio, and you have a recipe for disaster.

you sound like that battered wife that fears the husband will leave her even though he beats her every night.

McNair isn't going anywhere. The market is too valuable and he'd be the dumbest Billionaire ever if he did.

I agree. McNair already has the money.

The threat to not buy season tickets again is a good one but to really work it needs to be carried out. While less season tickets might mean he can sell more walkup sales those walk ups aren't nearly as valuable as season tickets.

Good for them...unless a huge majority of season ticket holders do this, this is just noise...Pubes is going nowhere...
