Naw. Save Bud for Denver. Bud, Jared, Hill for Nene.

Without any hesitation, and I like C-Bud. I feel that won't be enough to get him though.

Sounds underwhelming from Denver's point of view.

We have both problems a SF that is very limited offensively and no presence in the middle to block shots and get crucial rebounds when we need stops in the 4th Qtr

You have to be a troll. Nothing else makes sense. I who have been critical of Morey in the past don't understand your basis for criticism at all. I won't even try to rebute it.

I think a target that Morey should acquire is Varejao. Hes 6'11, 260 lbs. so he's a pretty big guy. He can score, rebound, block shots, and he takes charges. I think he will fit in nicely with the team. Also Clevelands probably looking to move his long contract since their now in rebuilding mode. I think we could get him for Jeffries, Lee, and a pick for Varejao and Leon Powe. He'd be a pretty good solution to our C problem.

Also Memphis could sign and trade Gasol for Varejao, Jordan Hill, etc etc.

He'd be a pretty good asset.

    Think BIG.
    Why not Dewight Howard?
With the recent trades, if the magics do not pan out, or any injuries happen to their big contract playsers, I see Howard leaving. Morey should be preparing for that.

    Gilbert Arenas --- Mo Williams
    Turkglue --- Antoin Jamison

All big ugly contracts and possibly subpar performance.
We should not commit big money to our C position. Leave it for Howard, M. Gasol, etc.
I am fine with us playing Hill and see what we can get from him.

Watching him play tonight and he looks like a little more mobile Dampier. I like varejao but at what expense. For a first and Bud I would do it. But he is a double double and the starting center. I think they would want Hill for him and that's a BIG HELL NO! Of course they may decide it is tanking time before the trade deadline and Varejao becomes part of their firesale for youth and Lottery picks. Still would probably at least want Lee. I am not sure if I would want to do that. Maybe we can find enough minutes for Lee if we lose Bud.

I'd rather we just develop Hill, then trade for a center. I mean outside of maybe Nene, who is available that isn't as much of a project or gamble then just keeping Hill at the C position?

Hill just needs to add 10 lbs of muscle, become a dominant rebounder, and continue to develop his game while blocking shots.

If in a couple of years he averages near a double double and two blocks, while continuing to develop the offensive and defensive skills he has shown so far, we are set at center for years.

(Unless we can get Dwight Howard of course..)

Brenden Haywood as a situational Center off the bench. He is overpaid, but what 7'1" guy isnt? Like Otis Smith said yesteday there really isnt only about 5 teams in the league that require multiple affective true big men in this league to guard, but you have to have size to beat teams like them.

The nice thing about Haywood is he really doesnt make very many mistakes on defense, and isnt as much of an offensive liability as you would think. If the Rockets face the Lakers in the first round and Bynum is healthy then there is no question that the Rockets will get killed on the glass.

If Hill get bigger.... he gets slower... Just remember that. One of the great things about him is he beats most bigs down the floor and can draw in the defense for open shots on the break. Also helps cut back on easy buckets in transition for the opposition. His lower body needs better strength to not get bullied around in the paint, but not at the cost of the majority of his speed.

Once Denver trades Carmelo Anthony (the Nuggets would be so, soooo stupid to get Bosh'd or LeBron'd), DM should swoop in for Nene.

I'm not saying he'd be an inexpensive "get".

The Rockets can facilitate a quick or a slow Denver rebuild, given our glut at certain positions. Quick rebuild? Scola or Martin. (Not my preference.) Semi-quick rebuild? Lee, Patterson. Etcetera.

Nene at center? 'T'would be awesome.

    Would it happen? I wish.

trade deadweight talent like Chase and Scola at deadline for decent center.

sign more talent over the summer like Mr. Carl Landry.

shift Battier to bench, Twill to start

    done.
