Does this really require elaboration? If so:

The Rockets don't have a problem with who/what to look to first on offense. They look for a fast break opportunity first, if not, they can work the high-post game and find backdoor layups (thus, Adelman is the first option) or get a shot for Kevin Martin (whose USG% is 12th in the league, so for all the talk about he couldn't create a shot, either he or someone else are creating plenty of shots for him, Scola post-up is another thing that works pretty well).

Their issue isn't who to look to first, it's who to look to when all else fails. Thus, the last option is the issue, not the first.

A guy who is your best first option isn't necessarily your best last option. And vice versa.

I disagree. DMOrey is the first option.

    ...

Deserving of a temporary demotion to rookie status for polluting the GARM with this nonsense.

Agreed, need a player to make his own play if nothing else is happening. Before that, it's all about team offense.

Truth. But also, think more on the road games and less on the recent home games.

the issue is that when the defense reall clamps down and the offense seems to stall, there's no real option to take that hard shot and get it, the type of player that can turn the opposition 20-4 run into a 20-12 run
