Heard on the way to work this morning on 610 that MoT is going to sit out this evening game with a soar ankle.

What was interesting is they didn't say achillies or anything...just ankle, which implies it is something unrelated. Anybody heard anything else about a new injury?

The Chronicle called it a "stiff ankle," which in my opinion implies the achilles. Further, it has already been reported by Keith Jones that it is the achilles scar tissue that caused the "pop and burn." Jones said he has to knock off the scar tissue, and it is nothing uncommon.

It all makes me wonder if he could have worked through this "scar tissue" issue earlier had he not gained all that weight and been forced to do non-basketball training to burn that off.

I was wondering the same thing. The scar tissue has been there for a while now. This sort of thing is what makes all the KT trade talk so ridiculous, IMO.
