I don't think it's genuine. But what's it matter? It's entertaining.

 

Yeah, the ChiCity guy seems more like funny if you were there kinda humor. Really only funny because he's being so ridiculous.

Riley from The Boondocks is more likely imitating him though.

that was way too long and the bug he smashed was a stink bug.

 

It was not a stink bug. There is no common name for that bug. It's a type of leaf-footed bug named Acanthocephala declivis (link)

It is a type of Coreid bug.

Not many here... but we make up for it with scorpions, militant rats, and coyotes. Damn, if you see a coyote and a bobcat running around your neighborhood, you'll be wishin' you had a roach for a roommate.

No. No no no no. I've seen coyotes plenty of times, and I've seen some parts of an animal on the sidewalk that I didn't even want to venture a guess towards what it was (presumably after a coyote encounter). If there is a cockroach ANYWHERE near me, I will not rest until it is DEAD. Coyotes can go about their lives, but cockroaches are INTOLERABLE.

 

I guess I'm in the minority, but I didn't find that funny in the least bit. Real or fake it was whack.
