Listened to Wade Phillips and Gary Kubiak post-game conferences earlier in the year. Mirror images... "... got to work harder..." "...seeing some improvement..." "...I take responsibility..." "...takes time..." Same redundant crap that both teams have spouted... Only difference is, even though I hate him and his team like poison, Jerry Jones stepped up and did something. He knew the players had quit. McNair is the battered wife... just keeps thinking it will get better... listens to the apologies and excuses... Time to man up...
^ The team clearly hasn't quit, though. I'm not advocating keeping him. I think he should be fired the second Week 17 is over. But to say the 2 situations are the same is disingenuous at best...dallas and Minnesota were much more alike.
Have people never watched press conferences before? They ALL say the same thing. People are gonna be really disappointed when Bill Cowher says the team needs to execute better and that they need to play better next time....
On vacation in cali and this will be the first time I am ever missing a Titans/Texans game in person or on tv and its fitting that I am actually hoping the Texans win. Will check in tmrw night to see how this thread goes. Please texans, find a way to win this game, keep the titans losing streak alive, fire fisher.
Kind of crappy considering all the other numbers he puts up. I hope the Texans can get him to 100, but that would take a lot more looks in the end zone. Either way, I am hoping he comes out and lights finnegan up with a huge game. Plus he's only got three games left to reach 1500 yards. I may be wrong, but he would be the first to have three consecutive seasons doing it. At this point, there's not much more worth looking forward to. Let's go Dre!

Nope, he's doing a good job. Just ask all the other owners in the league. Another loss will only mean that we're getting closer to being a great team.
