Full deal: Phx sends Hedo/J Rich/Earl Clark to Orlando for Vince/Gortat/Pietrus, 2011 first round pick and cash considerations, sources say - Chris_Broussard
if Woj says it, its probably offical WojYahooNBA Orlando will send PHX Carter, Gortat, Pietrus, a 1st round pick and $3 million for Richardson, Hedo and Earl Clark, source tells Y! Sports.
Bud and Jeffries for Gortat? Bud fits that system perfectly. It seems like they're cutting salary as well, so they may like to cut Gortat's long term contract.
Phx making out like bandits...they get a true center, bigger expiring contract then JRich, short term contract in MP, money and a draft pick. Edit - VC's contract is mostly non-guaranteed next season...which might be even better.
Wow. Otis Smith just went berserk! Dwight Bass Hedo J Rich Arenas/Nelson J Rich can shoot lights out. that seems to be the only positive right now. Plus Magic just traded for two of the worst contracts in the NBA . just amazing.
If the Suns/Magic deal goes through it will likely reignite speculation that Steve Nash could be traded. ChrisMannix_SI
If this goes down as reported than Phoenix are better off keeping Gortat, damn it! Sure they can, Lopez is in his rookie contract.
Gortat is part of the new wave for Phx, Nash and Hill should get traded. Looks like Phx has begun to rebuild. Carter won't like the move so he is probably traded AGAIN by the deadline to a team looking to shed salary before the lockout.
You talk as though Gortat is super young, his 26, heading to 27 in two months... the guy is just couple of years away from 30...
Shocker here! #Rockets tried to get in mix for Gortat, with Kevin Martin going to #Magic, but "couldn't get it done." KBerg_CBS WTF!
Rebuilding can only start officially when they trade Nash for young talent, they are not building a team around Gortat and Dragic, they need to trade Nash for that prospective It! player. They surely will miss Richardson, but I am pretty sure they'd like to see what happens with this new roster before they decide to part with Nash, there's no point in calling it rebuilding after Nash is out of the building.
