    That was already posted and discussed in the (ridiculously long) Cavs-Heat game thread.

    Yea.

    I wonder why its so hard for some people to admit this.

    Now if only that sack-o-losers hadnt choked in the playoffs, bron might have a few rings already.

    Cavs have lost 6 in a row? How much longer can this streak last?

    I watched them against the heat, they are easily the worst team I have seen in years :eek: . Byron Scott is an absolute moron. I had to change the channel after Jawad Williams bricked his 5th "Rafer tear drop" in a row. Dear god does Byron recognize that not everybody in the league is Chris freaking Paul, and that your power forwards aren't supposed to be throwing up floaters in the lane?

    I really wanted them to beat that LeWhine and the gay heat, and seeing that absolute travesty of a basketball team had my blood boiling.

    Hollinger's computer projections have the Cavaliers winning 21 games for the worst record in the league. Best case scenario is 38 wins and worst case is 8 wins.

    LeBron turned one of the worst teams in the league into a 60 win and consistently made it to the Conference Semis.

    Now the Cavs are back to one of the worst teams in the league again.

    That is ridiculous reasoning. The team was built around LeBron dominating the ball. Cleveland has a bunch of solid role players who are perfect for a star-dominated offense. Boobie Gibson isn't gonna start being able to create his own shots all of the sudden, Verajao isn't going to dream shake defenders in the post without a play maker on the floor creating easy shots in the lane for him. So yes, in a sense, LeBron was responsible for their success, but their sucktitude right now cannot be used to contend that LeBron had a crappy supporting cast.

    They were a lottery team before the team was assembeled with Boobie and Varajo. They went from 17 wins before Lebron to Conference Semis with Lebron.

    You bring up boobie and varajao as a good supporting cast. LOL
    The cavs supporting cast aren't even comparable to a championship supporting cast.

    Gasol/Bynum>Ilgauskas/Shaq(injured)
    Odom/Gasol(plays at both PF/C)>Varajao/Hickson
    Artest>Antawn Jamison
    Derek Fisher>=Boobie

    Tony Parker/George Hill>Boobie
    Ginobili>Anthony Parker/Delonte West
    Jefferson=Antawn Jamison
    McDyess/Blair>Zydrunas/Shaq(injured)

    Your excuses for the Lebron's crappy supporting cast show ridiculous reasoning. The Rockets were built around McGrady/Yao dominating the ball and creating shots for everyone else. Yet, when both of those guys were suddenly gone last season, the team still managed to man up and at least play .500 ball. That's what a strong supporting cast does without their main guy.

    Somewhere back in the first 25 or so posts, I stated the Cavs were a better team than what most people expected them to be. That may have been. But the loss to the CHeat totally destroyed whatever small amount of confidence they had. And IMHO, the NBA is all about confidence.

    The amazing part is that in the EC, they are still only 3 games out of the #8 playoff spot! :eek:

    They had lost 5 of 7 even before the game against the Heat.

    Probably. But as I recall, the teams that beat them had nearly a 60% win record. Prior to LeBum returning to CLE, they were competing with the other sub .500's. Now, they are not doing that.

    The schedule caught up to them, and they started playing teams with mediocre to winning records. They have lost 10 games in row for the longest active losing streak.

    They are currently on pace to lose 60 games. It's amazing that this team won 61 games, last season.
