That would be dump to trade Brooks for Landry when we could sign him in the offseason.

That is a lot of money to have tied up in your PGuard position. Even if you going to pay AB the same as Mike Conley then your looking at almost Max money tied up in that position. Even if salaries are reduced with the new CBA, that also means the cap will go down too, not sure about keeping both.

When all of that was going on, i was really looking to get Cousins. No way i would trade Brooks for Landry only.

if we keep both Lowry and Brooks then i want to 1) find a way to have them both on the court at times without it being a serious defensive liability and 2) have Brooks puts his pride aside and becomes open to the idea of being a 6th man.

not saying either of these are solutions, only that they have been sticking points that need to go away if both these guys are getting paid. i personally don't see any way to keep both.

I feel that Brooks being a 6th man is the solution, seeing as the bench needs a pure scorer.

So its safe to say .....

PG,SF are the two position we will be reducing the players in those positions:

    PG-Brooks,Lowry,Ish, *Lee
    SF-Battier,Bud,T.Will,*Lee

Trade scenerios will have to include a combination of these players plus a expiring (J.Jeff....... especially if you want to get a elite player)...

    Throw in PF, also.

PF - Scola, Hill, Hayes and Patterson

The pieces are there, just need to find the right move.

That T. Williams move looks better everyday, seeing as we still have so many assets. They should really look to keep Shane around.

As much as i would love to have Brooks be our 6th man of he year, i think the addition of Williams will present another problem for Brooks, further making him expendable. As you have all seen, Williams has good pg skills. Also, you have Lowry who has been doing well, Lee who can also play the point and Ish. Williams is the scary one, though. He is almost neck and neck with Lowry as far as his PG skills. Just needs to cut down on TO's. Would all of these be good reasons for Brooks to be traded?

    Ok.

Please someone give me advice on my fantasy basketball team!

I already have Lawson, Nash, and Deron Williams as my top assist men on a 16 player roster.

Would you guys pick up Taj Gibson for Kyle Lowry???

Heck, would you pick up Grant Hill over Lowry with Brooks coming back?
