If Odom had Scola's motor and attitude, he'd be a superstar.

Close races which should be interesting: Gasol & Melo, Rondo & Rose

One thing to look forward to: Williams might give us a dunk contest entrant for the next few years.

West center are so terrible, Bynum played like what ...? 20 minutes so far this season and he is second in voting..? that's BS.

This result apparently disappointed some people. I guess they will be happier if Yao is behind Bynum.

Look at how many Lakers have exxaggerated popularity here. The Kobe-Effect is putting them on the list. Meanwhile, the Yao-Effect seems to have died out.

Kobe obviously deserves his spot, but he has almost twice as many votes as Chris Paul. Pau is good, but better than Anthony and Nowitzki? Dirk has been playing out of his mind. Meanwhile, Odom beating out Scola. And Bynum joining Yao in the don't-you-know-he's-injured camp. And then, the most galling, Derek Fisher (the weak link in the Lakers' starting line-up) getting more votes than Martin, Brooks, and who knows how many more deserving guards, and not far behind Tony Parker, star point guard of the league's best team.

I don't agree with the voting being biased towards any particular team. But I'd much rather it be tilted towards a team based on championship success rather than towards a team based on the ethnicity of their star player.
