Nothing major to report... but I saw Moochie and a 'lady friend' at the Pappadeaux on 1-35 in Austin, just about an hour ago. I was there with my wife and kids an noticed him walk towards the bar with a carry out bag. I immediately ran up to him, said hello, shook his hand, and told him to have a great season. He was very nice....shook my hand and told me thanks. He did look much leaner, especially in the face.
OK. I've had it. I hearby declare that the camera joke is not funny. If you use the camera joke in the future you will: 1) be the subject of mean spirited mama jokes for a period of 1 month 2) be forced to supply a camera to the person in question 3) write 2,000 words on the intracacies of the trapezoidal hyperbolic offense 4) publically apologize to the BBS for said infraction
Did you grab his sack? (He was carrying one, wasn't he?) Sorry, I couldn't help myself. I agree jokes like these aren't funny anymore.
Was it a leathery sack? Do you think he had a camera you could have borrowed? I am sorry, I know I am juvenile. DD
I saw Jose Lima at the Olive Garden..... nice ride he had! my girl says "look at this wierdo comin in what the heck does he have on?" .. then she says "lookin like Jose Lima" .. i said oooo SNAP it is him hahahah I wanted to say .. shouldn't you be at Casa Ole' ....
Well, if people wouldn't come in here with unsubstantiated Rockets sightings, then the camera joke wouldn't get tired! Maybe Clutch should start a separate board for Rockets sightings, and post the rockHEAD Rule of BBS stalking on the page...
we have a new post police recruit!! let us know when graduate from the post police academy! hey, if you do post pics you can get my AWARD!!
I once saw the gardener who works for Clyde Drexler's mother at a swap meet one Saturday morning this spring. (Yes , I took a quick picture with my handy disposable cardboard Fuji and developed immediately at a One-Hour Photo-Mart across from the meet.) I followed him home (it took forever) to Victoria that afternoon, then pulled in behind him in his driveway. It turns out he no longer is her gardener but works at Helen's Beauty Parlor and Bait Shop near Mario Ellie's weekend retreat in Lockport. He said "Yeah sure, why not" when I asked him to autograph the picture. It sounded like "Huh?" but it must have been the language barrier. I could tell he had an uncanny basketball sense, because he stripped that pen from my hand, and fast broke for his door screaming "Mimi, open up quick it"s another stalker". He deftly made a great defensive move, tossed that picture over his shoulder giving me a perfect wide open shot for two points in my "Houston Rocket's Passport Autograph Book". I said "Gee, Thanks" of course. Yeah know ... some people talk about celebrities and their penchant for shrugging off their responsibilities to the common little man. Say what you will but this man took time out of his life to proudly recognize another ardent fan among the masses. I was beaming the whole drive back to Houston. Man, I landed a picture AND the Sig of Jose Maria Fernandez . I know ya'll wish you hung out with me more. Don't be jealous, I'll keep you posted on any more adventures as they happen. PS: I don't think he came from the regular college ranks though, 'cause he spelled my first name with an A and two SS's and my last name looks like more like dole or tole or role or something.
Speaking about Clyde the Glyde... I had my picture taken with him a few months ago at the Alley theater... I would post the picture, but I don't know how to post pictures on the board.
Wow......I guess this is why I don't ever post. It's hard to get anyone to make sense. I just thought that some of you might have been interested that I ran into Moochie. No photos, no autographs, and anytime I've ever met someone famous I've always said hi, shook a hand, and let them be on their way.
Sorry Millerz, that wasn't a diss to you ... just me having some grins. I'm glad you got to meet him, and you don't need any photos or signed affadavits to prove it to me that you actually did. Keep posting indian. pop
