26 years old and his career is over, unless they find some miracle way to get him some cartlidge.

He is just limping all over the court, no explosion, nothing.....

Man.....now I am glad we didn't get him, we would be stuck with that contract.

    YIKES !

Yeah, what sucks is he had such an upside! Watching him against in the playoffs and watching him now it's like he's a different player.

Didn't Pritchard practically force the owner to sign Roy to that deal--one of the reasons that ultimately led to him being fired?

Doubt Morey would've done something that dumb.

It's so tough to watch great players get ruined by injuries. It is so devastating to see a talent like Roy get diminished. I hope he finds a way to fix his problem.

People in Portland might be saying the same thing about us. We have far more than our fair share of injuries and bad luck, thank you very much. :(

Might be mistaken, but if we drafted Roy, we wouldn't have the assets to trade for Battier (traded the pick that was Rudy Gay for Battier).

Not really. I mean sure Yao broke his leg again and again, but at least he mostly started the season healthy, and his play always improved as the season and went (right before he suffered another injury).

With B-roy everyone knows there's basically no hope for him. THe crap part about it is that he just signed a max contract, at least Yao will be expiring next year. Man look at the golden child's legacy in Portland and it looks like something Isiah made. So many years in the lottery, 2 playoff runs and now stuck paying an injured guy the max for the next half decade.

It is sad, Roy won't ever be the same and just a two years ago the Blazers were the next big thing.

Yeah it's sad.. he had potential to be D-Wade part 2 and win a ring with Greg Oden... too bad Oden was a bust too.

I honestly do feel bad for Roy and the city of Portland. They are passionate fans, and you gotta respect that. It sucks for them that Oden could never stay healthy and Roy's knee is now failing him.

No, let's hope not. That was their core or "Big 3" though. Not no more. Basically down to Aldridge.
