More proof that the Fisher turn and shot was physically impossible in .4 seconds, haha.

Could you imagine if Stoudemire's shot counted? o_0

Knicks gave the Celtics all they could tonight. And vice versa.

    Felt like a playoff game.

    And LOL at Spike Lee.

Spike Lee taunting the Celtics bench after the Amare shot was hilarious. Too bad the shot didn't count.

Amar'e should have just threw it up. (Like Kobe's motion in last year's GW against the Heat).

No time to plant one's feet when there is 0.4 seconds.

I watched this basket-ball match in a bar, down the road from the Garden, on 33rd street.

I gotta say, this was one of the best regular season NBA game atomospheres I have been to since the Shaq-Yao game way back when.

Great stuff. Even though the Knicks lost, I thought they showed they were for real. But watch them go and lose a bunchnow.....who knows. Worth watching at least.

Amare's flaws came back to bite his @ss near the end. He got outworked for two big boards late by KG. Get those boards and they probably win. Then on the switch, his 1on1 defense fails again by giving up the game winner to Pierce. This is the ultimate problem with that gimmick offense that they run. It doesn't play big enough and they can't get stops or boards when they need them. That wouldn't be a huge problem if they had an actual center down there that was blocking shots, playing good man D and grabbing rebounds. Not mossygoose and Turiaf, who is a backup PF.

Knicks are a layup line on defense once you get into the paint. Their 12 feet and interior defense is some of the worst I've seen this season. But that's the way they wanna play. They don't want a defensive minded big slowing or gumming up the offense. It's the fatal flaw in that gimmicky run and gun offense/no defense system. Oh well.

That offense will get them to the Playoffs but obviously no one expects them to beat the top 4 seeds in the postseason at all.

This "gimmicky" offense almost beat one of the best defenses in the league.

Sure, Amar'e choked in boxing out KG for the last few possessions, but to say that their defense was a joke this game is wrong.

I know it was a high scoring game, but the Knicks played some decent defense.

The Knicks seem to be relevant now. Hopefully, they get back to their winning ways against the Heat (who also have won X in a row. Poor Knicks.)

Awesome dunk. Lucky the refs didn't call the obvious travel though.

Knicks are coming back down to earth.

The only player from the bench getting 20+ minutes is Toney Douglas. D'Antoni can't keep playing his starters 38+ minutes game. It brings the wins early in the season, but it leads to fatigue and injuries to his best players. This is especially dangerous for Amare, who has played only 1 healthy season above 36 minutes.

That is D'Antoni's way. It will change when Houston gets snow in July.
