i think it's because he's made 232 shots out of 411 attempts. i could be wrong. Spoiler he's a baller, can't hate on that
I don't know. But I don't care how. All I know is he ended up being the franchise player on my multi year fantasy team so he better keep this up...
As long as the Mavs and Knicks keep doing well, Stoudemire and Dirk should be right up there in the top 5, in MVP voting.
too bad he can't spell clutch in the playoffs If it wasn't for his constant flopping throughout the year and disappearing acts in the playoffs, I would like him. Also, if he didn't play for the Mavs.
I'm gonna be honest, if anyone from the West is to win the 'ship, I want it to be the Mavs. Why? Simply cause Dirk deserves one.
Dirk has stepped up again and again in the playoffs. He's one of the most clutch players in the league. I like Dirk a lot. Crazy efficient, and no drama or b****ing out non-b-ball stuff.
Plus, he is one of the few guys in the league that you knew when he become a free agent that the odds he would leave his team were about 1%. The guy is one of those guys that wants to play for one team and I think if he ever leaves the Mavs a la Karl Malone to L.A, it will be the most difficult thing for him. Plus, he is probably the only NBA player without an agent per se.
ray allen gets more open shots and can't even hit 50%. dirk's shots are always contested and he always freakin' fades away, which makes his shots even tougher. the guy is truly having a career year offensively. i expected him to drop a little. props to him.
