    I came up with this rendition many moons ago when the move was announced. Could use a little work, but this was the basic concept.

    That New Yorkers logo looks way to crappy to be a possible NBA team. Look at the font/text for "Brooklyn," it's God awful.

    I knew way back when that when we named our football team the Houston Texans, we'd never see any winning seasons come out of it. When will they learn?

    the basketbal club I started in my home town was called the broockland Lions
    (I'm from Breukelen, the small Dutch town brooklyn was named after). so they could call it the Brooklyn Lions :grin:

    This blows there concept art out of the water(just give it some vibrant colors), I hated the graffiti font they were using, UGH.

    Brooklyn Knights ....it's a ploy off of "Brooklynite," a word used to describe a citizen from BK. I'm from BK and have never heard that word to describe a person from Brooklyn.

    But its the name being pushed by Jay-Z since day one. Jay-Z just has to battle a soccer team using the same name to make his dream a reality...

    The Brooklyn New Yorkers thing is fake... The Nets have filed trademarks with USPTO, but differently. This is just someone trying to drum up news and website hits...

    I agree. If that's the kinda crap they're coming up with, they might as well pay HRocketsFan the big bucks because he blew their **** outta the water.

    I agree about the Brooklyn graffiti font. It looks like something out of a bad 90s video arcade game.

    Brooklyn New Yorkers..ugh. I agree that Ballers or Nets are better. who is spike lee going to support when they move to Brooklyn? They don't really need an added name. "Brooklyn" is cool enough by itself and it's definitely more original than New Yorkers.

    Actually i think they just leaked the logos to drum up Inter-web interest ( and also to probally see how much people hate the name/logo) .
