It will be epic if we can get both Williams and Randolph.

First of all he wasn't in the dleague cause he lacked skills, it was for a punishment. So before you agree with this guy, you both should go check your info first.

2nd, is it official? Did we get him already?

That would be good. Alot of young guys here to choose from and move in the future. Kind of a glut with Pat Pat, Scola, Hill, and Randolph though. I would like to aquire them and sell a few high for one or two quality players in return. Just gain alot of PFs, Sgs, and young SFs. Then find someone who will bite on our older players and consolidate this team into younger more talented crew.

I'm still a little bit baffled by the trade, but I trust Morey has a plan in place.

One thing I certainly like though is that we can now put young and athletic backcourt with great defensive potential out there with Lowry-Lee-Williams. Add Scola and Hill and that could be one of the best fast break running lineups in the league.

Wasn't Terrence Williams the one who was lighting us up when we played the Nets twice in China? Very aggressive offensively?

Hey cool the criticisms homes I know why he was down there. The guy is talented as hell but please realize the league has had all kinds of talent run through it that didn't stick because they didn't come to work and didn't have the brain for it.

Ever heard of a million dollar body ten cent head? So far that's all this guy is until he proves otherwise.

Splash? No. But he's probably worthy of a flier nonetheless.

Also can't make it official til the 15th. You did read the articles right?

That would be STUPID, he is our top scorer and one of the most efficient scorer out there. Even though his defense is below average you don't trade him. I like Terrence Williams a lot, he is a great all-round player.

Another theory why Morey won't trade Kevin Martin is because of Chemistry. Think about it.... Bud and Hill played together before they went to Houston as well as Lee and now Williams. And of course Martin and Miller :p

That makes perfect sense. Especially with Brooks coming back and stealing Lee's backup minutes at the 2. Lee and a first is a lot for this kid but he definitely upgrades the sf spot. ANd I know the d-Leaugue is not the NBA but he destroyed in his stint there immediately. LINK

Although the Nets may have assigned Terrence Williams to the NBA D-League for all the wrong reasons, he certainly made the most of his time. In three games for the Springfield Armor, Williams averaged an astounding 28.0 points, 11.3 points and 10.7 assists.

Unfortunately for the Armor, though, Williams will no longer flirt with a triple-double on a night-to-night basis in the D-League as the Nets announced today that they have recalled the 23-year-old swingman.

"We saw a lot of what we needed to see,'' Nets head coach Avery Johnson told the New Jersey Star-Ledger on Tuesday. "I know his team went 1-2, but from an individual standpoint, we thought he played a lot of minutes, took a lot of shots and was real active. I've watched all three games, and based on that evaluation, we feel now is a good time for him to return.''

It's interesting that one of the things Johnson was hoping to see Williams do in the D-League was take a lot of shots, but Williams did just that, hitting 29 of 68 attempts, including 10 of 20 from beyond the arc. His first game seemed to be more of a feeling-out period as he looked to pass more than shoot, seemingly trying to get comfortable in the D-League. But even then, Williams netted a triple-double by scoring 16 points, grabbing 15 rebounds and dishing 13 assists, while throwing in a steal and a block for good measure.

Williams also commented on Twitter, saying "First thing first it's def good to be back, I give all glory to God he put me in the position to do right an has a great plan."

Williams has played in eight games with the Nets this season, averaging 6.8 points, 3.8 rebounds and 3.0 assists in 19.9 minutes per game. He is expected to be in the rotation when New Jersey visits the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday.

Morey was clearly impressed. He is 23 years old and jump out of the gym. Shoots from behind the arc and brings athleticism to the 3 that we have been missing since Ariza left.

Did you skip the rest of the thread? Jermaine Taylor was traded to the Kings to make room for Williams. Lee will remain a Rocket.

This doesn't seem like a Morey move. Lee has some shortcomings, but he is a disciplined player.
