Interesting...I wouldn't mind this in the least. I feel a bit bad for C-Bud in a way, but I could see this being a good thing for him as well; perhaps this will jumpstart him also...? One can only hope.

I am just guessing but i am hoping this is how Adelman uses Terrence Williams too. Hoping Budinger steps up with this move too..

I don't why some people acting like he is some kind of a superstar or something he is just good role player with some potential calm down people.

Because hopefully he can take some of Chase's minutes. That is huge news. Chase is playing major mins for this team and has done jack **** with it.

I don't think any of them will eat mins of each other, I think Budinger will back up Martin and Terrance will back up Shane.

Yeah, bro, I think it's pretty apparent you don't know a damn thing about Terrence Williams, nor what he brings to the table. Get ready, though. You will find out soon enough. This is a huge get...

He better not sit on the bench. Rick's gotta play this guy.

I hope so, because judging by his college stats (11.2 PPG, 32.2 MPG, 140 GP) he doesn't seem too freakish to me. I sure hope I'm wrong. I hope he doesn't get the Gerald Green treatment.

    Current/Former Rockets College Stats:
           PPG   MPG   GP
    Bud    17.0  35.4  100
    Lee    17.6  31.2  127
    Taylor 16.2  25.8  122

Why would Bud back up Martin when Lee is doing just that and he's been playing great thus far?

Williams is a versatile player, can actually play 1-3 so I'm sure we are acquiring him as a 3. And with the injury problems the Rockets have this is a good pickup so that the dropoff isn't that bad the next time someone sprains an ankle (although I hope Williams doesn't sprain his getting on the plane to Houston.)

He's also backing up Martin, which is what he will do when Brooks is inevitably back in the lineup. Not only that, Bud can't guard any one. It would be a disaster to have him back up Martin completely so now guys can get hot against Martin, get to slack off on defense as Bud bricks every shot, and then go off on Chase in return and stay hot.

This is a Morey win for me, we give up a protected pick for a good prospect. Can't lose there.

Well, I mean, all you have to do is watch him play, something it seems you have not done. I had a chance to watch 8-12 Nets games last year, all of which he played in, including the Chicago game, and I can assure you that the guy can ball. His versatility will prove to be extremely valuable to this team because he isn't just set at 1 position; he can play multiple positions.
