Solid trade of JT for a future 2nd round pick. Yeah, Jermain Taylor never got a fair break here in Houston - for Jermain Taylor is a gifted scorer. But in all fairness, he never earned his playing time. His Basketball IQ is what could have contributed to his lack of court time.

Well Morey might have redeemed himself after paying so much for the rights for Jermain Taylor.

But, on the other hand Chase Budinger has played well; he's in a shooting slump, but solid.

You guys are crazy if you think we're actually getting a real second round pick...this was just a salary dump the Kings agreed to do so we don't have to pay the luxury tax.

I'll guarantee you this is a highly protected pick in 2018 that the Rockets will never see unless the Kings become dominant.

    Take it to the bank.

Don't bother trying to make this argument here, most people here overrate Morey to ridiculous levels. All the guy has done is build a 9-14 team and continues to do nothing except make lateral move after lateral move.

I still think Jt was sleeper on this team, had potential to be a decent 2way player unlike martin.

Good deal if pick is unprotected or minimal protection. Otherwise at best we just traded T-Will for 2 picks and a low second round pick.

Another thought, if not for the Kings we would be stuck with a lot of mediocre picks by Morey. The only players of consequence we got for them include Ron and Kevin. Only player of consequence we traded back to them was Carl.

None of the players we give them have panned out. You figure at some point they will realize we are not their best trading partner.

Green, Dorsey, Landry and now JT. Who else can we give them --- Jeffries?

We could have had DeJuan Blair instead of Jermaine Taylor. Hopefully, that is the last thing I will ever say about him on this board other than wishing him all the best. Blahdios!

@AlexKennedyNBA: Source doesn't believe Jermane Taylor will end up in Sacramento after all. Nets are trying to acquire him in a separate deal.

i think the rockets saw the kings coming to town and asked them to please take jt with them on their way out. the rockets don't care where he ends up after that.

He was never going to amount to anything. He seemed to be as clever as Stromile Swift.
