    I was just diggin' this song 'My Mood Swings.' Could you recommend some other EC to check out? Seems he's got a voluminous catalogue so I don't really want to dig through 30 years of stuff right now.

    Elvis has genre attention defecit disorder, so a good introduction might be the latest best of collection released by Rhino. For individual albums, try:
    "This Year's Model" -great embittered pop-punk songs
    "Imperial Bedroom"- lush embittered orchestral pop songs
    "Get Happy" -60's r&B style embittered pop songs

    In the "My mood swings" mode, "King of America" is a great, great album that was recorded mostly with session musicians who played with the other Elvis.
