even with the 5 w-19 L ...check out his stats..he is beasting..he cant carry the team on his own yet. Guys a rookie still.
this is old i saw this a longtime ago. thats peter mehlman. he is one of the writers from seinfeld so of course all this is just a joke.
I assume you're trying to compare Griffin's rookie season to Yao's, which really doesn't make sense because we had a better team around Yao. We started 15-10 that year. But Griffin has a team with no chemistry, a bunch of selfish players, and most notably a terrible PG at this point in his career in Baron Davis. I don't think Griffin is an example of a player just putting up numbers on a bad team. I think there are 31 other GM's that would trade just about anyone on the roster for him.
Technically, Blake Griffin played 0 games, 0 minutes and got 0 pts and 0 rebounds, and won 0 games in his rookie season.
He wont be a Clipper for very long. With the talent that they have, they are underachieving. The people that blame Rick Adelman for our woes ought to take a look at what Vinny Del Negro is doing with the Clippers. Vinny Del Negro looks like he ought to be coaching high school games. What's worse is that they'll lose Blake Griffin and Eric Gordon because of their inept front office. The Clippers will be mediocre (at least) until the team is sold.
He's going to take his talents to South Beach, obviously. By the way, anyone catch that ORL - LAC game? Griffin won the matchup against Howard (I know, different positions). He had something like 27/16/5, while Howard had 22/5. I too, wonder where Blake Griffin will play. If OKC can keep both Durant and Westbrook, it is hard not to imagine he'll play there.
Blake needs to find a way to get himself out of Clipper land. Nobody has become a superstar playing for the Clippers.
if anyone can turn that black hole of a franchise around it's gonna be griffin.... ...well that and the most worthless human being in the world donald sterling dying.
