I don't think LeBron and Rose are friends. Not sure if Rose wanted LeBron in Chicago.

Not sure if Rose has surpassed Wade yet but he's getting there.

um.. rose has not surpassed wade.

rose isn't anywhere as efficient. if wade was on the bulls, he would put up better #s than what rose is putting up.

in a year a so, he might.

Lets look at their career numbers.

    Rose
    FG: 47.9%
3-pt FG: 29.8% (making 38.6% of his 3-pt attempts this season)
    FT%: 77.4%
    TO per game: 2.8

    Wade
    FG: 48.2%
    3-pt FG: 28.7%
    FT%: 76.8%
    TO per game: 3.7

Efficiency-wise, their numbers look pretty much identical.

I can only imagine how good that team would be if they got a decent shooting guard.

Efficiency also depends on the number of 2s, 3s, and FTs the player takes, among other things. When you put it all together, the efficiency no longer looks identical.

111 career offensive efficiency versus 107 for Rose.
    56.5 TS% versus 52.6 TS% for Rose.

5/6 3 pointer from Rose tonight and still a qtr to go. I think its safe to say he got the long range shot down...and with efficiency.

Rose is crazy tonight. It's too easy. 21 pts on 10 shots so far, zero FTs. It's good to see them taking care of business with authority the night after a big win. I think Thibs has something to do with that. He is incredibly intense on the sidelines. WOW!

    He's not ELITE yet.

His passing is not that great even though his #s in the assist category is pretty solid.

And taking 22 shots to score around 25 is not something to be excited.

    Exactly.

He is so athletic, he needs to find ways to draw free throws and get opposing players in foul trouble.

Rose has such great body control, he can twist and contort in the air AROUND people. That ability probably allows him to try to make the layup shot instead of relying on the ref call.

Rose and Monta Ellis are crazy good at swerving in the air past defenders for layups.

    Good comparison actually.

I think if he screams more around the rim, he can get a little more help from the refs.

Or he can just take a page from Westbrook, stop contorting so much, brace for impact and become more of a power finisher instead of relying on finesse.

And Rose could exude more hostility on the floor. This will come with time.

Wow. He just tore a new hole in the spurs defense tonight and made Parker his B****. He basically scored at at will and slicing, crossing over to the hole.

    42pt, 8 assist and 5rb.

I believed he outplayed all of the elite point guard this year now.
