What are chances of Croshere really becoming a Rocket?

It seems that we here on the BBS are getting our hopes up too much on signing Croshere. We don't really have much solid evidence that he likes Houston anymore than Boston, Atlanta, not to mentioning Indiana. Last summer it just seemed that there was a good chance that Shandon was going to take less to come here. You could just feel it in the air, we all knew deep down inside that it was going to happen. Things like that don't usually happen two years in a row.

I would love to see Croshere as a Rocket, but I think the chances are very slim (gut feeling). We just don't have any hard evidence from the inside of management; the guys who really know. Right now I would say we might have about a 10% chance of getting Croshere, at best. Not very good, so don't get your hopes up too high. What do you all think?

I think it is closer to 50/50 of getting Croshere. He apparently liked here. The only real question is will he take less to come here or will he use a sign&trade deal to get here. Ind has too many players at his position and he will get more playing time here. I would not even consider Atlanta a possibility due to them having a new coach and all the strfe surrounding Mt Mutumbo.

Who would WANT to play for Pitino? [IMG]

Sure he could sign with Ind but he would have a PT problem. That would mean Ind would need to move some of their younger players because they would not be able to get the game. Namely ...AL Harrington and Bender.

With Anderson, he kept saying that he didn't want to play for Utah; he wanted to start, he didn't like the town, etc. We don't get any of that with Croshere. He likes Houston, but he likes Indiana too. I think he'll either play for Indiana or Houston, but that it is completely up to the Pacers. I think the only way we'll get him is in a sign-and-trade, so we'll have to make it worth it for the Pacers. Most likely, I say he stays in Indiana.

Just maybe thats why we haven't seen anymore faces around talking to the Rockets because they have a good feel he might come here.

Title I would estimate only a 15-20% chance. Odds are he will stay with Indiana.
