I would hope UT's excuse is that they are overlooking OSU because of the OU game...

Why can't UT put together 2 good halves?

Well, it's not as bad as it looks. UT is dominating the total yardage, and if not for two chip shot misses from Dusty, it's a 16-3 game at halftime. I think that's around what most of us would've expected.

This is just one of those classic looking ahead games. It took Texas a while to get into it, but they are into it now, and I think they'll get a couple of scores early in the third quarter and put it away.

The most impressive thing, again, is Chris Simms... not one questionable throw so far. He would've had a 60 yard TD on the first drive had Sloan not slipped a bit when going for the catch. Also, Roy seems to be playing pretty well, so I think he'll be ready for next week. (he better be... I finally found my ticket :))

45 YARD TOUCHDOWN TATUM BELL!!!!!!!!!! Why does OSU suck so bad, yet have close games with the top teams?

special teams so up and down today!

2 missed FG's, but a successful fake punt and blocked EP!

any particular reason we've gone 5 wide in the red zone today?

last I checked, we do have a couple of great RBs...

Hmm... might want to look at the obvious hold the OSU receiver has against Rod Babers to spring it. Also might want to think about the pass interference for a clearly uncatchable ball.

OK. So if Texas loses(and that is HUGE If),it will be the officials fault? Don't even bring up the OU-OSU game last year, we got out-played, simple as that.

Well, it won't happen, but if that drive is the momentum changer in the game, then yes it would be. There's no excuse for missing those two calls.

Oh come on, you don't think it works both ways? Texas does the same thing, it's not like the world is against the Longhorns.

Yeah, what a scrub. He's only led his team to a 5-0 record with 10 TD's, 3 picks (only one legit), over 1,100 yards passing, etc. Usually, the best player on each of the top teams in the nation gets some consideration for the Heisman.

What? The HB pass? That flag was picked up, and it was incomplete anyway.

Funny, someone around here said Cedric Benson was better. BTW, Nate Hybl is ranked higher in passing efficiency:p

    Nate Hybl played UTEP.

Also, how about that play right there? Did Vasher even touch Woods?
