I suggest that the Rockets should pursue Kostas Vasileiadis to play as a swing man for them. Vasileiadis plays in Spain and he is basically like a 6-7 version of prime Peja. I would say though that he is a lot more athletic than Peja ever was. He is one of the most prolific outside shooters I have ever seen. The guy is an all-time, all-world shooter. He can take over games by himself literally at will. I watched him playing most of his games last year and this year in the ACB (Spanish League) and he is the best offensive player there by far, bar none. He is one of those rare guys that is such an explosive scorer that he can put up 15 to 20 points in a quarter rather easily. I've seen him score 15-18 points in like 3-4 minute stretches. He can score equally well whether he is starting or coming off the bench. He could play as a SG or a SF. He would be absolutely ideal as a 6th man swing man off the bench. He could take the minutes of guys like Budinger, Lee/Taylor. I really think he would be an outstanding guy for the Rockets to go after.
he's not terribly athletic. vid didn't really show that he can create for himself. how's his defense?
Not really impressed. Put up Buds highlights and they blow this guy away. Bud is more athletic and has had periods were his shooting was off the charts. If Bud is lost and never finds it again than we need an upgrade not a questionable prospect. This guy looks more like a 2 tan a 3 and he can't hold Martin's jock. I wouldn't even look for another 3 until we hit near the tradeline. I'm convinced Prince and Iguodala will both be available come then. ANthony is available for rental. If you want a pure shooter Danilo Galinaro is available in a 3 way deal to help New York land Anthony. I think by the trade deadline we will at least upgrade our 3. We will be above 500 by then with Brooks back and hopefully Yao back. We will be ready to make our run at another 22 game winning streak.

Interesting.... but what is that one thing that this team REALLY needs? I think its defense..??? How's that attribute of his??
Not interested in judging a player based on the poster who is suggesting him. Interested in judging a player based on the player's skill set. This dude has an NBA gun. He has a fantastic release and form and he can get that shot off over NBA defenses. And he has enough handle to dribble drive when the D overplays his three point shot. And he has good bball intelligence on how to effectively use a screen to get his shot off, whether it be the three ball or a two point shot, which he is highly effective shooting as well. Offensively, he can play in the NBA today. Have no idea how good his defense is. I suspect it is poor. But that is a guess based on him being a Euro and a little small for the SF spot. Just signed a contract in July for 3 years with the third year being an option. I see nothing about any sort of buyout after one season. Does anybody know if he can buy out for the standard 500,000 Euros? Other than that, he is 26 years old and is having a big time breakout season. I suspect he stays in Europe for his career. He is a superstar over there. But if he were available and could be had for about half the MLE, I think an NBA GM would do themselves good to take a gamble on him. And yes. There is something about the Greeks and Argentinians that I like. It's their style. The Argentinians sacrifice their bodies by throwing them around all over the floor and they combine that with very good bball skillsets and intelligence. The Greeks, they always play with a very high degree of intelligence and skill set. I like skill sets and intelligence in a player a lot.
not gonna happen stop waisting your time, we got enough swingmen or whateve u wanna call them on the team, bye
You guys love to find a guy you've never really ever seen play, and definitely never seen play against NBA competition, and then posting about said player. I could do a stand up bit on the mentality of this forum if I didn't have a real job.
