22 seconds left on the shot clock. I assume it was an offensive rebound and dish by Wade? Or an inbounds steal?

I feel like they need more time to gel. Say one season. The only way this team will completely **** itself over is if/when Pat Riley panics and destroys all essences of team chemistry and etc.

Remember that most of these guys have NEVER played together in their careers. All-star games and Team USA performances do not count. Given a season or two, and if everyone remains healthy; I'd pick the Heat to be the favorite for winning a title.

One Season? An entire season to get their act together? Teams change players every year, you can't always give teams a year to figure things out, come on. Three of the biggest superstars in the league on the same team and they need a year to figure things out? The pre-season is the time to gel, the regular season is the time to win. I don't see many people willing to give the Rockets an entire year to gel, they expect results now.

When those three superstars were introduced to the Miami fans and they came rising out of the floor pumping the fists and thumping their chests, they didn't say anything about a year to gel.

They will make the playoffs and whoever gets them in the first round, will get sweeped. They will most likley face the celts, and have a chance to beat them.

People are making out like they are struggling heaps, when they have a winning record, and will make the finals easy.
They are the best defensive team in the league, which in playoffs will mean a lot more then reg season games.

So I consider that a successful year, but the pressure will be next year, when they can fill the gaps on there team, with the mle, and lle etc.

Did Tracy McGrady fulfill his promise to bring "good things" to Houston?
Did LeBron bring a ring in Cleveland?
    Did [x] do [y] to [z]?

What if every player just went out there and said, "Don't expect much from us". You don't believe everything you hear, and the very few sane people that have followed the Heat this past offseason have noted that they have a very weak bench, no inside game, and lack of chemistry.

It's just that "3 SUPERSTARS WE'RE GOING TO WIN" mentality have overshadowed the Heats' weaknesses. There's a reason why the talented 2004 Olympic team did so terribly. Just because you have talent doesn't make you the winner.

god listening to matt harpring for the jazz is just terrible. no wonder he's such a dirty player. all he talks about is trying to foul lebron james.

and finally the heat is using lebron like how he should be used: as a scorer.

Get sued saying that, from where I'm from.
Also it was the jazzes home game, which makes it even better.

Yea, the magic johnson role wasnt working too well.

The cavs won 60 plus games because lebron was the offense. If the Heat do that, with wade and bosh backing him up, they will win.

I don't mind the fans not showing up when their predictions are off (eg, Miami will suck, Cleveland will make the playoffs, LOL), because fans are supposed to be emotional and irrational. What pisses me off is how the media plays the same game. They were hyping the Heat like mad, and that grew quiet when the Heat disappointed, so then they realized that people liked to hate the Heat and started pushing that stuff. Fine. But where is Adrian Wojadoushky now that the Heat are good again? He'll show up after their next loss, make no mistake about it.

Yeah, but that article had nothing to with the win, or how well LeBron played (which is fine normally, but not when you've just written ten articles blasting the guy). It was instead a puff piece about how LeBron never accomplished his mission in Cleveland and left the fans hanging. The Heat could win 30 games in a row and Woj will find a way to rip on LeBron. It's just what hacks like him do.
