If so, where at? The Stache and his Strumpet are looking for a nice play to go volunteer! Any help appreciated.
I do in Austin... on average of 3 hours of volunteering a week for the past 2 years. Where do you live
Yup, -Habitat for Humanity (they work your ass off... It's hard damn work! They basically told me to operate a huge table saw, nail guns, climbing on huge tall planks and ladders without any safety training) -San Diego Food Bank -I Love A Clean San Diego - Adopt a Beach Program
Not anymore, but several years ago I would provide free rides home from the bar for drunk women -- of course at no cost.
Not anymore I volunteered for two years in a hospital during my high school years (yes partly was because parents made me do it for college app) Even got a small award for going there on a Christmas afternoon during a blizzard
Volunteer to coach a sport in some little league. That's fun. I've coached two different basketball teams and a football team in the past couple of years.
Interfaith Ministries - Food for Seniors & AniMeals programs (both are once-a-month deliveries, so they're not incredibly time-consuming if you have a busy work week); however, they also do a daily Meals on Wheels program. I've been doing the FFS and AniMeals routes for about 4 years.
Sugar Land animal shelter back when I still living at my parents place (and they said no pets) Will probably volunteer at a local hospital, now that I have a bit of free time in the spring semester.
