IMO, there were many factors in this decision. Lee has started to come on and deserves more playing time than just backing up Martin. The Rockets are definitely better defensively with Lee's defense and have found some success shooting the three ball. Playing the high post game with Miller, a player like Taylor should be able to have open lanes to the basket. Martin & Taylor handle the ball well enough that Lee won't have to do all the dribbling by himself. A lack of consistent scoring from our bench has opened up playing time for Taylor.

Jermaine is a talented player, but needs to be more of a team player. IMO, sending him down to the DL was a mistake. Having him play with lesser talented players only makes him more of a ball hog. The game he started against the Lakers allowed him to be more of a team player. He was challenged to play defense and not not the primary scoring option.

He was terrible out there! On Defense and Offense. Didn't Adelman leave the JTSGLEEPG Experiment out there for 6 minutes? That went down by 9 after the starters built a lead.

Pretty much. They were so bad that Jared Jeffries played meaningful minutes. Ouch.

Ok and Bud and Lee did better.

    JT 5:58mins :0-1 0 TO 1pt 0 rb 0 ast

    Bud 10:20 mins: 2-6 6 pt 5 fouls 1 reb

    Lee 22:02 mins: 0-4 0 points 3 rebounds 1 assist

Ya they definitely played Breyer than JT

    And got more mins.

    I can't stand RA.

Which makes it even more dissapointing JT missed an opportunity to stand out.

I don't understand why people are bashing JT over that performance.

Firstly, the whole bench unit just sucked, period.
Secondly, JT got what 3 opportunities, the 1st one was with the clock counting down, Lee and Miller couldn't work **** out and finally gave it to him, he drove in boom turnover, the second opportunity was similar except he pulled some weird move and got 2 FTs out of it, and a missed 3.

Again, just people hating for no reason, I was more angry at Miller who had his back to JT for a whole play while he was wide open from 3 and the play ended with Miller doing that terrible looking drive he does (And a miss).

That 2nd unit with Lee at the point and JT in there was horrific.

JT was TERRIBLE!! He is too aggressive for his own good, causing too many TO!! He is trying to prove too much!! Is anyone else thinking this experimentation is costly?!?!

Really? I thought he turned the ball over on his first drive when they threw him the ball with the clock running down.

But yeah, that post about "too many TO" is ridiculous, another case of people seeing what they want to see.

Furthermore, JJ actually did some good with his time on the court. It looked like he didn't have much rust to shake off
