Double digit TD game??? That's pretty high standards for anyone, really :p
I think you meant more than two in one game...but yeah, he's really only had a few big TD catches his whole career. You'd think he'd have more by now.

Sorry, meant double digit for the year.

That's one of the few times. I'm glad we have a solid running game finally, but when we have 1st and goal, a pass here or there would be nice on a more consistent basis.

Before this year, I might, and I say might feel a bit sorry for Andre if the Texans continue their mediocrity. But with the recent new extension, what else do the team owe him?

If Andre really, really, really wanted to win above all else, he'd have some more opt out clauses in his contract so he could've gone elsewhere if he wanted. And not keep signing big contracts with huge bonuses with the Texans to get his financial security.

I don't think Andre feels sorry for himself that he's on a losing team nor should anyone else feel that way. He signed an extension for crying out loud when he could just wait to opt out OR he could have asked for a trade a long time ago if he really didn't like it here.

Winning or losing, Andre wants to retire a Texan.

Maybe, though he probably had hope that we finally righted the ship. I don't think most of us saw the results this year is producing coming. I know I didn't see 9-7 as the absolute best outcome and a longshot at that.

I knew things weren't going to be easy when I saw the schedule.
Having the most difficult schedule in the NFL doesn't help our case.

    He's a multi-millionaire who plays football for a living.

That said, I know what you are saying. I wish we could win with him on the team.

Isn't that what Lebron said about Cleveland?

    (Don't worry I don't think Andre will pull a Lebron on us :) )

Good point. But dont forget how hard it was for Kevin Garnett to get traded or move to another team, even though his team is garbage. We seem to overlook the human side of players. They're still human.

Just because they make millions doesnt mean that they are superhuman. As a matter a fact athletes self esteem is based on their performance and on what the public things. They are more volatile than you and I. I dont think he seriously considered leaving. I think he deserved his money.

It was tough, but not as much as we initially thought. If we had just a below average defense, think about how many more games we would have won this year. Its sad.

Dre keep your chin up. Coaching help is on its way. You showed more heart tonight then anyone on the Ravens defense tonight. You fought for every yard and that play in the back of the endzone was just superb. Keep it up 230 lbs of man child.

    Rep'd.

Games like this is why you can't help but feel for Andre. He gave us a chance to win the game. No other WR in the league can do what he did tonight, and guess what... Kubiak still Fu**s it up!!!

Andre is the only high point to being a Texans fan. The guy is flat out amazing. I almost hit the ceiling on that tying catch. I thought he was too far out, but man did he pull it off.

Andre Johnson is the Houston Texans.

Without him, we might as well not even have a freaking football team.

I'd be happy for him if he goes to New England. Honestly I bet Belichick would love the guy, never talks and always about bidness.

He'd become a all-time great there and would get a lot more attention since the Texans suck once again.
