Naturally, giving JT some minutes right now has NOTHING to do with December 15th and wanting to see if we should keep the kid or to give other teams a chance to see what he can do so that we can trade him.

One way or the other, we know what to expect. JT catches this ball, and it's Yinka Dare time (may he rest in peace). When JT catches the ball, his eyes are fastened to the rim, and he ain't gonna pass. So hopefully his shooting percentage will be high, because that's all he's got.

I hope Jermaine plays within the offense and doesn't become a ball-stopper.

It's clear we're not clear on on any trade moves. :)

I agree entirely. I think showcasing may be exactly what they're doing.

Good for JT. He deserves more playing time.. Plus, how could he be any worse than Bud is doing right now?

So we have convinced ourselves now that not being a playmaker is okay with the second unit, but not with the starters.

Thats weird, you would think since the starters are generally more talented that they would be less reliant on someone creating thier shots for them.

I guess thats okay in the second unit though. I guess your thinking is we just need one isolation player off the bench and have four guys standing around doing nothing.

I think showcasing JT is more of a by-product than the real reason. Ish Smith has been losing minutes, often not even playing in the second half. Adelman said he wants to get some more size at the PG position (CLee looked good against Rose) and it's time they give JT a shot.. I tend to agree with him.

JT the Tmac stopper. I love it. I've seen him stop the ball movement alot, but I do think he, or any anyone else for that matter, can also stop Tmac.

get rid of lowry, smith, and all of our backups for some decent talent. Im sure some team will bite.

    Example: Budinger
Hill For Antwan Jamison (who can play the 3 or 4)
    Jeffries
    Taylor

    Furthermore: Brooks
    Patterson For Demarcus Cousins

    Also: Lee
    Smith For Wilson Chandler

All salaries match, so why not? Or we can go for the obvious, IGGY, MELO, WALLACE etc.

love lee, do not love lee at point. whenever lee plays point everything dies.

why are we going out of our way to smooth over everything and be so darn sweet to taylor and brooks? What do we owe brooks?

I hope this is part of the plans to move brooks. With this new orleans news I hope somehow we can pillage new orleans for chris paul.

They can have brooks , budinger, hill, taylor and anyone else to where we can hopefully somehow keep martin yao lowry battier scola hayes. I just want chris paul and feel like brooks and a few others *might* be enough to somehow get it done. I know. I am dreaming.

Hi. Still on it. JT's game involves ballstopping, driving to the basket, then throwing the ball at the closest opponent hand. Not sure how this is an upgrade over Ish who is the best play maker we have at PG.

personally, I am not on the Ish bandwagon. I think he is highly overrated on this board.

However, I don't think this has to do with his ability but moreover is a reflection of trying to inflate JT's value to from zero to anything.

I would agree if the Rockets were standing pat, but I think you can find players to give Ariza's production at a lower salary. He's a journeyman who lucked into a nice contract after a playoff run.

December 15th is coming up. Good time to showcase people who could be traded. Lee at back up PG is interesting though. Lee and Martin could be on the floor at the same time.

I wonder what the rotation is going to be like when Yao and Brooks get back?

I feel Chuck and Bud will be the next two out of the rotation and even less minutes for Hill.
