martinez is indescribably awful. his ability to stand in the pocket and still take a sack instead of throwing it away is amazing. his ability to fumble or almost fumble on that sack is also amazing.

nebraska was in the outer limits of their kicker's FG range and instead of running, they drop back twice, one time letting martinez have a shot, and he promptly knocks them out of fg range.

also, nebraska doesn't appear to understand how timeouts work.

Agreed - Martinez is a joke. Pelini let the controversy play him. Martinez has great athletic ability that worked in non-conference play (and against lesser Big 12 teams) - but against fast defenses, his speed is negated. That was particularly the case following his multiple foot injuries, which zapped his speed.

Cody Green looked effective against Colorado - not sure why Pelini went away from him, especially considering Martinez wasn't fully healthy. My suspicion is that he wanted to throw water on all the "turmoil" rumors surrounding the team/Martinez, and it ended up costing him.

So thrilled Nebraska leaves the Big 12 with a loss. Hands down the most arrogant and annoying fan base in America - so happy that they're now irrelevant to me.

PLEASE let UConn not be ranked as a BCS team, that would be great for this wonderful system. :)
