Yeah, and if they don't call it then it's just good defense. Noah had the ball for like 2 seconds at least....FOUL HIM.

IDK I think Lee was just being a smart defensive player rather than him being told to foul by RA. Because it seemed like no one else was trying to.

Couldn't catch Rose? Maybe in the final two seconds, but that's cutting it a bit close there with a quick guy like Rose. There were a couple of opportunities to foul there -- watch the video.

    THANK YOU !!!

I mean honestly, it was not that hard, if Lee was supposed to foul he screwed the pooch BIG TIME.

Lowry wasn't guarding Rose effectively either. Lee was doing a great job guarding Rose. You'd have to put Martin on either Korver or Deng. I don't trust Martin to guard either of those players effectively, because he's slow to recover and loses sight of them too often. I want defensive players I can trust in the game when its crunch time.

You don't gain enough for swapping Martin in for Lowry or Battier to offset what you lose defensively, in my opinion. There's no guarantee you make the free throws either way, and percentages don't necessarily reflect what the player will shoot with the game on the line anyway (especially when he's sick and has been sitting on the bench for a long while).

yeah i'd agree if you run some time off, but DD was saying to foul immediately, but they were able to push rose out and took about 3 seconds off, so it makes sense to hesitate for a bit there...the mistake probably went to Miller for going for the steal instead of being ready to cut rose off...but who knows if the call was for anyone to foul rose or just lee?

Maybe they should have had battier come over and leave deng. Have scola run to deng if rose fires a cross court pass to him, which would have been bad for chicago at that point with barely 3 seconds left. Too much to look back on. Should have just made free throws.

Yep...10.7 seconds, and at least 2 great opportunities if not more.

LEE screwed it up again....unreal how unclutch that guy is late in games...just makes stupid mistake after stupid mistake in tight situations.....

Maybe he is just bad luck....SHEESH !

Heck yes, foul him in the backcourt.....or befor the pick.....why not? There were 10.7 seconds left......

No need to try to work the clock we hit our FTs we win....

Apparently Adelman told Lee to foul, Lee screwed it up.

Ouch. Looks like Lee had plenty of chances to foul if he wanted to.

    Thanks for the vid clutch.

Courtney Lee played good in the 4th, unlike your boy Chase. You just talking down on Lee because you hate him stealing the spotlight from your boy who has "great character".

Anyone who thinks it's better that the Rockets lost the game because it helps their lottery position is an idiot.

I'm sorry, but there's no way that this team, once it gets Yao and Brooks back, will play poorly enough to end up anywhere worse than in a position to get the 13th or 14th pick again. THAT, my friends, is not going to turn this franchise around. Not nearly as much as getting back to the playoffs will. Even if it means losing to the Lakers in 5 games.

depends if lee was the only one instructed to foul...miller had a chance too if he cut him off...lee got pushed by noah. Can't blame them for trying to squeeze some time off, if Miller stays put they get the foul and leave them with 2 seconds to rebound and put up a shot.

True, anyone could foul.....but not fouling was just dumb, you are right though if Lowry and Miller hit their FTs none of this matters anyway.

I've watched it a few times. I do have to say though -- Adelman has his hands up in the air (shocked with what is going on?) almost the entire time. He's in the top right. Maybe they were supposed to foul but no one seems to get it if that's the case. You would think if they knew to foul that they would have jumped all over Noah the second he had the ball (Miller took a swipe, but not an obvious foul).

im so glad this is already being screamed about.....how the hell could they not foul there???? And not for nothin, Worrell didnt say a word about it....he was more concerned with the fact that Lowry and Miller could have ended it by hitting foul shots. While he has a valid point, they didnt say a damn word about the foul that shuda been...DAMN!!!!

Bro, we are on the same boat. I think some just like to make a case for arguement's sake. What you've said is exactly the same strategy that other teams used to beat us in close games. Rick saved a few timeouts/substitutions at the expense of another loss.
