Probably the same thing a friend of mine did several years ago when he got it -- forgetting to take anti-malaria pills before taking a trip overseas. Once he was diagnosed (surprisingly few doctors in Burbank, CA know about malaria ) and started taking medication, though, my friend has been fine ever since. Everyone always forgets about Elden... I'll agree that he's probably the best (maybe the only) center in the east now. ------------------
