Taxes aren't donations, moron. But anyway, I have a link for you where you can enjoy the benefits of limited government, guns for all, deep religious convictions, and low low taxes.

    Way to keep it classy.

Point is that if you want to give more money to the government you can.

love general, unspecific stereotypes-what about business liberals? hmm

I have my principles. And I put my money where my mouth is. Don't try to twist my views to whatever narrow image you have of what amounts to a broad spectrum of people, each with their own experiences, beliefs, and things they contribute to.

It takes nothing to challenge others with nothing. Stones in a glass house. What do you believe in, and how do you fight for that goal?

How about you conservatives work on limiting the size of the governing by giving up social security and medicare benefits and stop sending kids to public schools?

Of course they are not donations, especially when it doesn't affect you. Its always easy to tell people how to spend their money, especially when they have more than you. If the tax cuts were allowed to expire for everyone, rest assure liberals would be all for renewing them.

The whole notion of individuals donating to the government is ridiculous. It's within the same concept as cutting programs that only don't affect you. "Cut welfare because I don't use it", "Don't pave the road in Iowa because I don't live there", or "Cut government worker's wages because I'm not a public employee". It doesn't work unless everyone buys into it and that means all across the board.

How is it logical that people think we can lower the deficit by both cutting spending AND lowering taxes. It's ridiculous and so is this the thinking... "well if you want to raise taxes... donate money to the government". "if you want to cut programs, don't use the schools"

The system has allowed us to elect officials that are enablers. I fool ourselves that we can get everything and sacrifice nothing and vote accordingly. It's not the fault of the politicians. Our political system has been so honed, it's giving us exactly what we asked for like the drug dealer on a street corner, the of course we blame them when SHTF.

Remember this phrase? "Ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country"
