    Listen up, Morey and Adelman,

The key to winning is shooting 50% or better from 3 pt land.

In 7 wins the Rockets shoot 47.8% from 3 pt land.
In 12 losses the Rockets shoot 32.8% from 3 pt land

    In the last 4 wins, covering a 4-2 stretch, they shot 10-20 (50%), 10-18 (56%), 10-22 (46%) and 16-23 (70%), the overall average is 55.4%.

In the 2 game they lost, they shot 9-28 (32%) and 9-23 (39%), overall 35%.

Rockets need to simply find a way to shoot about 50% or better from the arc. 45+% might work, too.

Lets teach our guys that these shots they take from the arc need to go INTO the basket, not OUT of the basket. I don't know why Grumpy Old Adelman doesn't know that.

Ooooh! And here I thought 3-point shots were more effective when they end up outside the basket!

    Thanks for the heads up!

In 7 out of 7 wins, we have had more points than our opponent at the end of the game.

    Coincidence?

I'm not a fan of Adelman but I think he knows it is obvious the players have to make those 3s

    Dude, SHUT UP.

Other teams are going to catch on to this valuable information. This is a worse disaster than Wikileaks. I advise you delete your post immediately.

I understand that you may be trying to be sarcastic. Seriously, is there any NBA team that shoot higher than 45% from the arc, with a volume comparable to your Houston Rockets? If not, this is not a winning formula then.

I also found that in the Memphis game, besides Budinger (-1), the entire Rockets team had +/- ratio numbers in the positive. For the Grizzlies, only Tony Allen had a positive +/- at +2.

If we keep winning the individual +/- ratio battles, there's a very good chance we'll win more games.
