What a sad, sad, sad state the NBA is in when Bynum is considered among the best.

And Yao being up there is the same as preseason predictions placing the Rockets anywhere from 2nd seed to 11th seed. When healthy Yao is top 15, when recovering he's maybe top 100.

The glaring omission here is Shane Battier.

How the hell is Bynum ahead of Yao? Yao is more talented and they're both injury-prone. Only Yao has already proven something in the league, whereas Bynum is still pretty much a work in progress.

I think if Yao is on the list then he should be higher.

If they are only counting what he does on the court, and not how much time he is off the court, he should be there.

If they consider how much time he spends off the court as a factor, he should not make it.

A lot of people probably didn't even include Yao because he didn't play at all last year and there was doubt as to how much he'd play this year.

How on God's Green Earth is Amare higher on the list than Chris Paul?

Last time I checked. CP3 was a leader while Amare is 2nd at best on a playoff caliber team?

There is a reason why Amare is privately begging for CP3 to come to New York.

And speaking of ROY candidates. Tereke 20-5-5 Evans doesn't make it, but Wall does?

I never pay attention to these type of rankings. It's all opinion and doesn't mean anything unless all the players play one on one and we judge from there. for example the first round could be kobe vs james and so on...... This isn't golf or tennis so who cares what people think.

Sorry, durvasa. Didn't even look in the NBA Dish for it since this was mentioned in a Rockets press release this morning (that Martin and Yao made the list).

Roy and Aldridge are too high, and I hope we can prove it by catching them.

You're right but at least with Bynum he's played recently. If it's just projections Yao should be ahead of Bynum, taking into account both their injury history.

The list is the opinion of 79 people... who cares? It's useless.

man what has Yao done this year or last to be on that list? Angers me because Scola deserves that spot more than him.
