Phil Jackson is probably the least humble personality in sports today. There are some pretty arrogant players in sports that are more flamboyant about it than Phil, but I think deep down inside, Phil Jackson is the most arrogant. It's one thing to get a big head and be proud and back your team, but to outright disrespect a championship winning coach and team is classless.

The bulls are lucky they didn't face the rockets, just like we were lucky that we didn't have to go up against the sonics. It's all about match ups and the bulls never matched up well against the most dooominant big man in the NBA, the dream. Phil Jaxxon needs to get his head out of his arse. Quite frankly, larry brown is a much better coach than phil. All phil has to do is watch that 2004 series against the pistons.
He's just "DREAMing" cause we beat his "FULL" team, many times. <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/TFEOHStETNk?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/TFEOHStETNk?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object> if you've never seen Rockets vs Bulls in the early 90s, you missed why us old timers never feared this matchup and why this Dream guy is our hero
Wait a second, didn't that Bulls win 55 games that year, and make it to the 2nd round of the playoffs...stop b****ing Phil...you didn't have anyone to stop Dream in 94, and in 95 you wouldn't have had enough to stop both Dream and Clyde.
Phil !!!!!!!!!!! Don't you remember????????????? Your Championship Bulls were completed dominated by the Houston Rockets of this era. You are most fortunate to have won so many Championships!!! Yetti Yes I do remember! I watched every game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Let's use some facts here. 1990-91 - We swept them, 2-0 ( Chicago Champion ) 1991-92 - Split ( Chicago Champion ) 1992-93 - We swept them, 2-0 ( Chicago Champion ) 1993-94 - Split ( Houston ) 1994-95 - Split ( Houston ) 1995-96 - Houston swept 0-2 ( Chicago ) 1996-97 - Split ( Chicago ) 1997-98 - Houston swept 0-2 ( Chicago ) Conclussion: I think it's possible to beat the Bulls in the finals.
They weren't really "whole". They didn't have Horace Grant or Dennis Rodman, who were huge pieces of the Bulls championship teams. Without them behind him to cover his defensive mistakes, Jordan was starting to look pretty poor defensively against other elite guards. I could say that the fact that the Rockets could survive the loss of Otis Thorpe better than the Bulls could survive the loss of Horace Grant means that Rudy is a better coach than Phil thinks, but that would be disingenuous. The Rockets still had the greatest player of all time in their front court.
Doesn't Rudy T work for the Lakers at the moment? How awkward that must be when they see each other...
i can't even have this discussion without losing my cool. i heard them talking about it on the radio earlier today and had to turn it off.
Phil still gets props from me for calling out the media for not giving the Rockets credit in their wins against the Lakers 2 seasons ago.
I've been over Phil and his pseudo Zen BS for a long time. I can't stand him. The fact that he pretends to be all Zen when he is far removed from that is extra annoying.
