    That's pretty funny. I'll give it to Artest. I don't want him on the team, but that doesn't take away how funny that was.

    He's one of those players that you hate until he is a part of your team.

    I seriously doubt he was hanging out with Luis. They did not get along from what I heard.

    He was probably ticked they lost, with his "Rockets are back" jab.

    Naturally I looked there, but all I see is the quote and clutch saying he loves artest, no links or anything. Am I going crazy? Would someone mind reposting it?

    Unfortunately that ship has sailed.....They burned that bridge.....but it would be nice to insert him into a line up of;

    lowry/Brooks < if not traded
    martin
    Artest
    Scola
    Yao/Hill

    I would even debate that this lineup could actually compete with most of the elite teams in the NBA......I could get use to this..... :grin:

    I understand losing, makes us long for better times past, and that Artest's call was funny, but I don't understand the desire to bring him back on the team.

    He had horrible shot selection, would disappear and be off in the clouds during occasional games, and completely disrupt the flow of the offense.

    As much as I appreciate the heart our team played with back then, and The funniness of Ron Artest, he's not someone I would ever want on the Rockets team again.
