I like Woj. I think he breaks a lot of great stories in general. You can tell he doesn't care for LBJ which is fine. There's way to many reporters that are afraid to insult LBJ.

I'm pretty sure Woj's sources have given him the green light to talk about some of the things he might have not said before. Either way, the media has a lot at fault when it comes to LBJ. They kept building up this guy and now they're seeing how much of a turd he really is.

Like I've stated before, The Cavs also share a big part of the blame because they basically have let LBJ run the show so he would stay. This started back in 2007 when he only signed that three year extension. They spent the past three years letting him have control so they wouldn't lose him. No one person is greater then the team.

Either way, there's a reason why LBJ has lost a lot of support across the league. He brought a lot of this stuff on himself. He hasn't learned how to respect the game. Why do you think all the NBA greats have lost all respect for LBJ? You have to appreciate the game. That's why you see a big support in guys like Durant and Howard. LBJ is not the face of the NBA anymore.

Without derailing and turning this into a T-Mac thread I find it really interesting that Woj has always been one of Tmac's biggest supporters in the media. Given his obvious venom for LBJ I would have thought he would have been considerably harsher on Tmac who by all accounts has a lot of similar spoilt, entitled traits.

I am sure Woj puts it in a way that sounds real bad. But it is highly unlikely that these things are made up. For one, Woj and Yahoo are not some tabloid BS stuff. He has his job on the line here and Yahoo has its credibility on the line. For two, if these are flat out false accusations, you'd expect it to be exposed as such. I mean, they even came out to say that the shoulder bump was unintentional. You think if something so damaging wouldn't be shot down immediately if untrue?

Uhh.. Plenty of people have been writing negatively about Lebron. I just did a google search in google news for Lebron and this is the first article that pops up and it's titled 'Sorry, but LeBron's a lost cause'

    http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/lebron-james-returning-to-cleveland-but-will-never-change-113010

I think Lebron has exposed himself to the world and people are taking a more critical look at him and finding lots and lots to dislike.

Single source or not, if it's untrue, can't LeBron come out and deny it? Or some of his Olympics teammates won't step up to deny it? It's not that difficult to find help if there's false accusation.

there are so many things written about him right now, do you think he has the time to talk about every article that is written about him?

the reason he had to talk about the spoestra's bump is b/c it concerns his coach. i don't think he cares to discuss ALL articles that talk about his character/personality or whatever.

if that's the case, obama or every major celebrity has to give out a press report every damn hour.

I don't like Lebron at all, but dear god, Woj is on a headhunt!

I clicked the article on Y! without seeing the author, read two paragraphs and was like, "oh. It's Woj."

I didn't say that Woj is the only one who has written negatively about Lebron. I said he's the only one (that I can recall, at least) who has been writing these articles with "insider info" about all of Lebron's behind the scenes diva/douchebag moments from the last several years. The other article you posted doesn't have any such "insider info." It says Lebron is lazy and immature.

Y! sports, Slamming Lebron, who could have written that???? I saw the title, the origin, and immediately knew what kind of article it was and who had written it.

can anyone bother to tell me if lebron is such a dictator, how come not ONE single former player come out and say something?

mo will DESPERATELY wanted him to stay. jamison wanted him to stay. all of the cavs players have good things to say about lebron. ilgauskas left cleveland to play with lebron. and you can go on and on and on.

i mean if lebron truly acted like a biotch dictator, i'm sure one single player would hate him like a mofo and unleash all those things.

Most athletes keep their business in house, or they leak stuff anonymously. When's the last time an athlete told the media, "hey, this teammate is a piece of crap and I can't stand him." It doesn't happen like that.

ron artest and horace grant about tmac?
smush parker and shaquille o'neal about kobe?
all the stuff about michael jordan?

and i can name some more.

look, if the crap is that big (and the way these reporters are describing, lebron should be b****-slapped b/c they are portraying a guy that makes people kneel down to him everywhere he goes), some players will say some stuff. things leak all the time.

but yet we hear mo will BEGGING lebron to stay publicly, and nearly retire. let's be real now.

I agree with you that players love him and the article is probably extremely biased.

but the way i see it, the problem is not teammates not liking lebron, but its his issues with authority. He is probably a great guy to be around, in fact I am sure of it just by seeing all the joking and messing around side of him. But this is not something coaching staff (well at least some coaching staff) want to see from his players.

the problem i feel is lbj's issues with authority. He is used to 'running' things on the court because he is the best player. I guess with wade on the court as well, the coaching staff may not see it that way anymore. They may want him to change his game a little in order to benefit the team a bit more. i guess that is where the problems are coming from.

The most interesting thing I saw in the article was actually a link to ANOTHER article by Kelly Dwyer, which explicitly outs Maverick Carter as the "unnamed source" who went to ESPN with the story that Spoelstra was losing his locker room and saying disrespectful things to players.

LeBron's history and Team USA stuff aside, that's pretty damning. I've seen locker room cancers before, but I've never heard of a player personally orchestrating a media PR campaign against his own coach. One month into the season on a new team. That is seriously messed up.

As much as Woj may dislike Lebron, Woj actually supports his statements with facts/quotes/references. Gotta respect that.

he had 3 quotes in that article and none associated with the team except for wade (and it's taken out of context).

Agreed, the issue here is a complete lack of respect for authority.

Look, Lebron will arguably be the best player on any team in the NBA, save for maybe a couple teams. Meaning everyone else on his team is pretty much a subordinate to him. Why would players rat him out, much less his own teammates?

riley is arguably the biggest figure in every team he has coached since his great days with the lakers. so trust me, if lebron did any crap, he would be disciplined by riley. the guy had the respect of ewing, mason, and oakley for god sakes.

wade may not be the better player he is, but he's also an all-pro and i'm sure he wouldn't take any mess that lebron "supposedly" has already put up in miami.

look, there's an article in ESPN about haslem (the heat's CAPTAIN) wanting to go to war with lebron in the miami game even when he's injured.

look, there's no denying lebron is a diva (just like 95% of superstars). but the way he is being portrayed right now is downright an evil person who has no regard for whoever in his way. it's just ludicrous.

look, i'm sure kobe bryant or jason kidd or other TEAM USA veterans would have lost a ton of respect for lebron if he put up this crap during his time there. and you'll see it. those guys don't hold their tongue.
