for reals. I'm hoping he doesn't outstupid himself. Hey Gary: GIVE FOSTER THE DAMN BALL. That is all, thank you.
Was at the Bears game Sunday, and their RBs ripped off HUGE runs on the Eagles D early. LBs looked like crap. We got a huge boost with Johnson dodging suspension, and should help draw pressure off of Foster. I agree the running's the way to go - Cole and company can be fierce if you sit Schaub in the pocket repeatedly. A bit concerned with Vick - our focus should be contain rather than sack - he's ridiculous with slipping out of tackles and flipping it into a 12 yard run. Pollard is a good choice for a spy. LEAVE NOLAN OR WILSON OVER TOP OF D. JACKSON AT ALL TIMES. Don't sleep on Maclin either - he's happily finding open spots with Jackson drawing defenders away. I've circled this as a L in bold all year...but momentum is firmly in our favor in a short week. Got to ride on the way we played Sunday and attack their run D.
BTW THE GAME WILL BE ON LOCAL CHANNEL 39. Wish someone would have told me that about the monday night game. If you dont have NFL network you can watch it at home. Last Monday night game I went to Luckys Pub, terrible atmosphere and the people there are getting ghetto.
What's the temperature going to be? Texans have never lost game played played in freezing weather; granted I think that stat only has a sample size of 4 or 5 games.
Good Job NFL highlighting the biggest thugs in the nfl both in one night. This might just be dog fight. I hope that it doesnt turn into a beatdown in the 4th. Anyone who watches this game is condoning violence, drugs, prostitution and terrorism. Somebody think of the children. /sarcasm
The one year we have a running game, Kubes wants to pass, and the year we don't have a running game, he likes to stick with the run. I don't understand this coach. I think as of right now our pass/run ratio is 55/45. I want to see it the other way around.
His problem has always been balancing. He loses sight of the big picture and when he actually takes a step back to look at it, he realizes how lopsided his play calling is.
Yep. He has a luxury with this offense and he's failed to use it for most of the year. When you have a balanced offense, that means you can exploit virtually all defenses by attacking their weakness. He feels like he has to go 50/50 every game. This week we just need to give Philly an overdose of Foster with play action mixed in.
Apparently Asante Samuel practiced today and s a go for the game....i cant imagine him wanting to miss a chance to cover AJ.....all that said, if he isnt 100%, thats a huge adv to AJ.
He isn't on the same plane with Nnamdi and Revis but is solid nonetheless. Samuel's best friend will be a pass rush/blitzing scheme to not allow Schaub time. If he has time, Samuel will be wishing he sat this game out.
Does that mean I get overtime pay at work for making me work on Saturday and Sunday? Texans have just set me up for another huge letdown. Please don't do that to me again!
Man, I'm seeing a lot of people thinking the Texans are going to get demolished. The Texans defense might be subpar but the Eagles defense isn't exactly great either.
*raises hand* I wish it weren't so; and I'll be so happy to be proven wrong. 30+ to 17-or-less Eagles clobber the hapless Texans, full of false confidence after beating on a CFL backup.
