To my knowledge, Boogie doesn't make ANY amps without PCBs. PCBs are fine but they also fill them with relays and all kinds of other stuff. My tennis racquet is better than any baseball bat. At least what I use it for.
Good quality headphones/earphones (Sennheiser etc.) that cost more than $100. I cringe when I see people using the generic ipod earbuds. People have no idea what they're missing out on.
I agree on a lot of clothes not being better for the price...to a point. A fine men's suit that is cut to your body is one of the best investments to make for clothes. If it is good material, structured correctly in the jacket (no cardboard), and is fit to YOU, it will last forever and will look excellent. Men have the advantage over women in this regard. A finely tailored suit can make a man look great at almost any body shape, even heavier men. The next thing for clothes are shoes (and other leather goods). Finely crafted leather goods and shoes can last your entire life if they are classic in design and you take care of them. In fact, well made shoes look BETTER the more you break them in. My Dad just handed me down a pair of Bally's and a pair of Ferragamo classic looking shoes. I had them re-soled and they look fantastic. (I'm lucky I have the same shoe size) Watches - many people will disagree with this, but a finely made Swiss watch that is classic in design will be handed down to your kids, I believe it is worth the money if you can afford it. It goes from being a time keeper and a fashion accessory to an heirloom. I also agree with Tools. Especially if you use tools to make a living.
not white! Swedish! actually, my poor attempt at humor. After all, it is a $750 million piece of white woman. worth it?
I personally thought you would have looked OK without those, dude. Send pics of the new YOU as soon as you get them in.
I guess. I remember spending $120 on a Chi for my girl and thinking WTF does this do differently than a $15 one from Target?
Oh, how could I forget. ALCOHOL. A fine tequila or craft beer kicks the CRAP out of bottom shelf or stuff in a can.
