I find it funny that you are worried about being able to get a question right as to the source and not be shocked by the moronic statements that we are voting on...

    Indeed.

Also...interesting, most muslims would score 100 %? Has that made the world a better place that they can score 100 %? Would the extremists also score 100 %?

Did you take the test? Did you get 100 % right? Do you think one should literally follow the Koran?

Site has exceeded it's allotted bandwidth, so we can't take the test anymore. :( I'm disappointed; I'd really like to have seen how I'd do. Haven't read much of the Koran but counting on my Biblical knowledge to carry me.

Have you taken the test? 100 %? Do you agree with a literal interpretation of the Koran?

What does the Koran say about burning the Koran?

    I didn't take the whole test. I answered like 10. Not 100%.

Is there anything you believe that I, as a Muslim, should not take literally from the Quran, my Holy Book?

    Thanks.

    How about these parts:

Surely the vilest of animals in Allah's sight are those who disbelieve, then they would not believe. (8:55)

Allah is the enemy of the unbelievers (2:98)

O ye who believe! Take not for friends unbelievers rather than believers: Do ye wish to offer Allah an open proof against yourselves? (4:144)

O ye who believe! Fight those of the disbelievers who are near to you, and let them find harshness in you, and know that Allah is with those who keep their duty. (9:123)

On the other hand, if most muslims get 100 % of those correct and the islamists follow them literally, it would explain some of the hostility and intolerance by certain young angry male islamists here towards people who question their attitude.

    Or how about this:

Qur'an (4:11) - (Inheritance) "The male shall have the equal of the portion of two females" (see also verse 4:176).

Qur'an (2:282) - (Court testimony) "And call to witness, from among your men, two witnesses. And if two men be not found then a man and two women."

Qur'an (2:228) - "and the men are a degree above them [women]"

Qur'an (4:34) - "Men are the maintainers of women because Allah has made some of them to excel others and because they spend out of their property; the good women are therefore obedient, guarding the unseen as Allah has guarded; and (as to) those on whose part you fear desertion, admonish them, and leave them alone in the sleeping-places and beat them; then if they obey you, do not seek a way against them; surely Allah is High, Great."

Qur'an (38:44) - "And take in your hand a green branch and beat her with it, and do not break your oath..." Allah telling Job to beat his wife.

The fighting among Jews, Muslims and Christians is as senseless as interdenominational snits among Baptists, Caholics and Presbyterians.

Jews, Muslims and Christians can trace their roots back to Abraham and have similiar prophets, similar parables (stories) and a great deal of common history. All believe in God. It's like a family feud and just as pointless.

I wish that people could understand God figuratively stands at the top of a great mountain with humankind in the grand plains below. There are some who look up and declare there is nothing at the top except imagination. That's fine -- it's the right of each individual as long as those individuals extend the same privilege to others.

There are some who look up and want to climb the mountain to get closer to God. That's fine too. However, among those, some see what they perceive easier paths up the same mountain. That's why Muslims are climing one face, Christians another, Jews another, and so on. The important thing, IMO, is the climb -- attempting to get closer to God. I will never understand why all peoples who believe in God can't understand that commonality.

The issue of taking verses out of context has been discussed extensively on this board before. But your insistence to continuing to do so just shows how blind and close minded you and some other posters are, just like the fanatics who take things out of context to justify their unlawful acts "in the name of Islam."

Btw, what's the weather like up your own ass?
