Evans is their real PG. Head is a SG who brings the ball up. Head is a good shooter. But he can't handle the ball.

I don't think its the playoffs but rather the team that they kept facing which as the Jazz and they have Head's former college team mate in Derron Williams. I wished Rick had faith in him ashe does with Bud. Those 1 and a half year had with Rick, he would play maybe 5 mins and that was it.

I remember reading a year or two ago that Beno Udrih was the future of the Kings at the point. What happened to that? I don't watch the Kings much so I don't know.

it's not because of Deron Williams, it's because head is only 6'2 and he's playing at the sg spot. the Jazz have a nice rotation of wing players, and since they play for the jazz all of them are solid defenders.

undersized sg with no handles=FAIL in the playoffs.

Head does indeed belong on a roster though. ideally he would be a good weapon off the bench for around 10-15 minutes each night.

I'm glad for him. At one time, it seemed that his NBA career was at an end.

Tyreke has to have the ball to be effective. He can't play off the ball, so you essentially need a spot up shooter or someone who can play off the ball with Tyreke. The problem with that is Tyreke isn't exactly the best playmaker. So you're in a lose lose situation with him. If he isn't getting his shots to fall, then he is useless. Hate to say it but to me, he reminds me of a bigger version of Brooks except Brooks is a bit better as a facilitator and has an outside shot. If their shots aren't falling, it's going to be a long night.

Look at the Clippers game - he couldn't buy a bucket and refused to pass out on his drives to the basket. Guys were wide open on the perimeter when he drove to the basket and he was determined to get his shot no matter what. His shots weren't falling and the man he was guarding, Gordon, went off. So not only was he not producing offensively, he was getting burned on defense all night, yet he played close to 38 minutes that game I believe.

Dead on. He's got to adjust his game and improve his weaknesses now that the NBA has adjusted to him. Reke's refusal to find open teammates really blows me away. The Kings have some very bad chemistry. Westphal has some problems on his hands. At some point he'll have to confront Reke and actually coach him for a change. The fact he hasn't done it before now makes it harder now. This is the kind of thing that can further distract a loose noodle like Demarcus Cousins when they try to reign him in.

it's obvious he's not a playmaker. what the kings should do is get a legit PG next to evans and make him a pure shooting guard (not a combo guard). the guy has poor vision and a refusal to pass.

Even with a legit PG, one that passes and sets up his team mates, Tyreke still wouldn't be any good because his jumper is non existent. Yes he can go to the basket but he only finishes to the right. Cut him off, force him left and/or back off him and make him a jump shooter and you have him figured out. King's won't go anywhere if Tyreke doesn't develop an outside shot.
