Exactly! The team stands around sometimes and just does nothing. Go back to the game film and look at the start of the third. We passed up open looks and missed open looks. We stopped the dribble penetration and squandered a perfectly good lead. This is not because of RA, or just one player, it is a fundamental team issue. The silver lining in all this is the Bobcats started last season 3-9 and ended up winning 45. We have a legitimate superstar and a squad of strong role players. When this team is healthy, other teams in the league will be scared.
shane, the guy is trash!!!!!! cant play defense like former self... cant hit an open three if his life depended on it!!!!!................ morey owes us big by trading deadline.... i want my defensive team BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Budinger. Even though he had a decent game, he has been a ghost for the whole season but Rick Adelman continues to play him and we continue to lose.
I think Shane and Hayes need less minutes. They're useful locker room presences and situational players. They aren't completely useless, though Battier is really losing his mojo.
Can't really lower their minutes much more....Bud isn't play d well enough, especially help d. Chuck is our only mobile big defensively. Hill isn't mobile enough to stay with the smaller 4s. We're screwed either way...unless RA grows a pair and decides to make the first move on going small vs going big, rather than just trying to match whatver the other teams decides first.
If I were as lucky as Battier, I'd be a CEO by now, BSing my scrubby a** all the way to the top. Maybe we should keep Shane afterall, we just might wake up in the Finals in June.
