I'd say the lottery is damn near unavoidable at this point. We're about to lose by double digits to the Charlotte Bobcats. Somehow I don't see Aaron Brooks or a few intermittent weeks of Yao Ming here and there turning this team around. Last year, the Rockets would have won this game by outscoring the Bobcats. This year, that isn't happening.

I wish you could blame it on one player, this team is just bad. The Knicks who are no super squad just beat these guys in a back to back and we came into the season thinking we would rape them on that draft swap.

This is an ignorant comment -- he's been asked to guard taller players tonight - Jackson, and then Diaw in that last possession -- and with no help defense.

Lowry is not a good PG at all. He can not create anything facing normal defense.

Yep exactly. If Miller rotates over in front of Diaw that gives Diaw three options...

    1.) continue and draw a charge/block
2.) try to make a difficult shot over miller
    3.) pass the ball out

That was one demonstration where everyone went screaming at Hill. Although he let Diaw by him, Diaw can shoot out there...Scola wouldn't have even went out there...

With that said young players are always inconsistent and bad at defense. The only way they get out of this is if you just play them consistent minutes.

Hardly anyone on this team plays that, its very frustrating to watch.

Because Kevin Martin didn't want to shoot the ball again. Wide open mid range. He pump faked and passed to Bud  Shoot the ****ing ball.

That last brick by Lowry pretty much sealed it. Why KM passed it up, I'll never know. RA being timely calling his timeouts as always. :(

This loss is on RA for not going to his bench when his starters were ice-cold in the 3rd. And for sticking with Battier all night.

people need to see this. when anyone has the ball, not just shane, the other players need to cut and move instead of standing in one spot waiting for shane to make something happen. That's on the other players, not shane. He is out there doing what he is supposed to be doing.

Time to get serious about rebuilding. Trade the vets for picks, develop the young guys & stop handing out long term deals.

Why is Rick Adelman still the coach of this team? We were supposed to be a top team in the west. With just one key player out ( I mean Brooks. Yao was not supposed to contribute significantly at the beginning of the season), Rockets is one of the worst. What is going on? With such a speed, the season is over before Brooks come back or any change is going to be make.
    Do something!

I agree, Martin should be on the block. He doesn't play like a Houston Rocket.
