I just got the biggest laugh and had to share... was watching an NBA show from 1993 and David Robinson said, "When I take the floor no one is better than me." Seriously brought tears to my eyes from laughter thinking about what happened 2 years later...
TOO MUCH .... just heard another one from a '95 show. They were showing Jason Kidd highlights with the Mavericks and the Dallas announcer after a great Kidd play with the crowd going nuts goes: "Whoa boy!!! He's 21 years old with a 9-year contract -- If you don't have season tickets you better get some!" Yeah. The ticket rush is overwhelming in Dallas.
That's almost as funny as D. Robinson saying after Dream schooled him that he thought he was playing pretty good defense. Just goes to show what happens when a big head gets popped. -Turbo
