Sounds like the beginning of a decent South Park episode.

 

How is that? The volunteers can't be eaten for some reason?

 

How about if people cared on non holidays.

 

My mother went to volunteer at the George R. Brown convention center a couple of years ago. They didn't have anything for her to do. She wrapped a couple sets of silverware in napkins and that was it.

 

I say sit down and even things out a bit!
